Moonlit walked through the forest and sat down near the stream.
then a reply would be
Keiji smelled a new scent enter the forest near his home he went to investigate and saw a strange slendermare by a stream. " who are you?"
then I would reply
Moonlit looked at keiji and her mane twirled nervously the tendrils going in all directions "..um..um...I am..moonlit..melody...sir.."

Keiji looked at the strange looking young mare.
"Well you don't look like any pony I've ever seen." he said examining her. "What exactly are you?" he inquired curiously.

She looks down in submission.

"It's fine. You didn't offend me at all." the white wolf said with a almost goofy grin. "I've never had any issue with those who are different from me." he said with no small amount of compassion in his voice.

Keiji only chuckled at her shyness. "Well, you said you were a slender pony right?" he asked. "Well I guess the rumors I heard were true." he said somewhat out of the blue. "And I guess that Slendermane must not be evil. You don't seem evil in anyway, and I don't sense anything evil about you either. And I'm guessing that you're related to Slendermane somehow."

"..he is..my papa...and .well we aren't...evil exactly..its just..what we do...isn't very..nice.."
She shuffled her front hoof nervously her mane twisting about nervously.
" ..we...um..scared..ponies.."

"Do you do it because you have to in order to survive? Or do you do it because you think it's fun or you take enjoyment out of it?" the wolf said in a serious tone. She could practically feel the tension and an almost intimidating and foreboding aura was emanating from him.

Moonlit shrunk back a little her voice could barely be heard
She looks at the ground. " ..to..e..eat..sir..we...e...eat fear.."
moonlit was scared of the tone and tension in the air.

"You feed on emotions? Like changelings?"

Moonlit's voice sounds confused she doesn't look up.
" ..what..is that?"

"You don't know what changelings are? They're a somewhat insect like pony-like race that needs to feed on emotions, primarily love." He said with a slightly disbelieving tone in his voice.

"....I um...don't...leave the forest...sir..my...papa...says...it isn't..safe. yes..we eat their...fear..."

Keiji chuckles a little.
"Well I've found that there are ways that my people have found ways helped to changelings feed on either other emotions or not have to feed on emotions at all." he said before pausing.
"And I think I could do the same for you and your father possibly."

Moonlit looks excited at that her mane wavers in all directions as she trots in place.
"..r..really...how...um...we don't...have mouths...to...eat...food...."
She does a quick twirl in excitement. " ..no more...scaring...no more...screams...no more..ponies...scary..dreams.." she giggles

Keiji could help but laughed at her excitement.
"Well yes and no. It's not quiet so simple." he said hoping not to ruin her happiness.
"It's something I've also learned to do. It's a fairly strange type of mediation that deals with emotions." he said getting a small smile on his face.
"With me I draw strength from my people. I draw strength from their love for their families and their trust and faith in me to lead them to victory. It helps me drive forward and keep fighting to protect not only them, but my own family and loved ones. It is a much better alternative than forcefully taking emotions from others." he said finishing his explanation.

Moonlit looks confused she tilts her head. " huh? me..meditation..?"
She sits down again unsure about what he meant.
"...how..um..does it work..?"

Keiji chuckled again at her innocent naiveté.
"Well for starters having friends really helps. And it's not so much a actual act of sitting and meditating as it is a strange feeling you get when you know that you'd do anything for the ones you know and that they'd do the same for you without hesitation. It comes from the fellowship and comradely that comes from friends and loved ones." he said with pride in his voice.

At this moonlit looked very sad her ears droop down and she looks down.
"..I..um...don't...no..any..pony...but..my..papa...I don't...have...friends.."

Keiji got a sympathetic look on his face. But then he laughs a little at realizing something.
"Well I guess we'll have change that. Buck up...what's you're name again?" He asked with a embarrassed look and sheepish grin.

He gave her a comforting smile and putting a hand (fore paw) on her shoulder.
"Well moonlit, there are a couple of young fillies in the nearby town of Ponyville that I think might make some nice friends for you." He said reassuringly.

She tilts her head a bit unsure sounding.
" ..um....not that I would...scare them..on..purpose..but my appearance...might..be um.."

"Don't you worry. These girls won't be scared of you, heck they might actually fight you kind of cool." he said trying to push her nervousness away.

She shakes her head and giggles

*after a short walk they came to the edge of the forest near Ponyville*
"Ok we're here at Ponyville. Wait here, I'll go get them." Keiji said before quickly running off.
*4 or 5 minutes later*
Keiji comes running up toward Moonlit.
"Ok Moonlit they're coming, so don't worry. Their names are Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo, and Applebloom. Just stay calm and be yourself, minus the eating fear stuff. And don't worry they're really good fillies who won't judge you because you're different. Trust me, they'll like you. " he said reassuringly.

"They might be a little surprised, but they will defiantly like you. You don't seem mean or nasty in any way. So I don't see why they wouldn't."
"Keiji where are you? You around here somewhere? Where'd ya go?" came a young filly's voice.
"I'm over here! There's someone I'd like you to meet!" the wolf called out before turning to Moonlit. The sound of hoof steps started to sound pretty close.
"It's going to be ok. Just stay calm and be nice to them and they'll return kindness to you." he said before turning and running off past some nearby trees.
