OMG! OMG! OMG!!!! I remember that movie when I first saw it! I was like 5 years old and I have been spending the past year looking for it!!!! And there are other people that liked that movie too!!! PLEASE, I BEG OF YOU, TELL ME WHERE I CAN FIND IT! I MUST KNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i remember seeing that movie when i was about 6 or 7, and probably the last time i saw it was 8 years or so ago...
i really love the animation and the whole feel of it.
i dunno, i was just thinking about it today and decided to google it. I had no idea of the whole story behind it - and now i really wanna see the proper original version. it's so sad that it's not available anywhere...

Amazing amazing movie!
Remember seeing it on HBO one night and wondering why the heck I'd never heard of it before! I was blown away...
It's only now ten years or so later that I realize the story behind it.
Should be interesting to see what Richard is cooking up for us in the future!

I only wish I had a decent copy of the workprint personally. Just managed to land a first-gen copy of a Thames TV documentary on Richard Williams done in the early '80s relating to the production of the film that cost me plenty on eBay.

Apart from the Japanese DVD that's probably out-of-print nowadays (someone I know tried to order it from CDJapan and was told they didn't have it anymore), does anyone out there have the Widescreen LaserDisc release for the butchered edition. I'd pay for that!

I remember watching the "Thief and the Cobbler" 3 years ago and I must say it's an intersting movie to watch. The animation is really trippy like and it is amazingly well done, and I never knew that Richard William's does the same animation in Roger Rabbit 
Yeah, I don't know alot of animators and directors that do movies 
I might see this movie again sometime, cuz I only saw it once and I like it alot.

oh righto!! don't u think that the princess is perty? i actually havn't seen the movie 4 a few yrs now, so i can't actually remember much- except 4 the theif trying 2 climb up a toilet pipe! and how he is trying 2 get those golden balls and goes about it by using a stick!

You can find it all over the internet! Even an Australian version with a few scenes not in the American version! I rent the Miramax version at Hollywood Video.
