It had awesome subtext, just enough poetry in the word choices, and it pretty much ended exactly where it should. There was no useless text in sight - everything hummed. This...probably doesn't help you much, does it?

Well...I was stuck in a boring meeting and couldn't figure out how to make it less boring. I was toying with the idea of excising it entirely and doing something completely different, and my computer apparently liked that idea, because the hard drive corrupted. Once I get my own real computer back and running, I look forward to a much easier scene that doesn't make me want to scream and leave...as meetings tend to do for everyone.

I actually did have a nice breakthrough after my computer suicided, bouncing ideas off the hubby while driving to the beach. My parents drove separately with the kids - it's amazing what you can come up with in the course of an uninterrupted conversation! I now have a much clearer idea of how the plot goes, which I think it's safe to say is quite helpful.
