# About me
I'm into drawing and designing stuff, mostly military themed whether it's fantasy, steampunk or scifi (more into sci fi).It may seem like i've being a member for a while, but i never really done anything until 2013, before that i rarely use this profile or even went on deviantart at all. I don't study art or really learn too many techniques so still kind of a noob, hopefully that'll change eventually.
commissions...not now, requests.....nope

Yeah cheers guys for the advice, It should be pretty easy if enough practice is put into it. The grip can be quite tricky but the barrel is really easily confused between flat or round. Yes drawing cityscape like tetris and blurring it are both good way since they're just backgrounds and not the focus, they are usually pretty easy. What do you guys think of drawing a large scene in 3D? That's quite hard in my opinion as it's so difficult to get the view right in free hand, without those perspective lines .

funny thing is, that's what i used to draw when i was younger, mostly inspired by RTS games i played, such as Red Alert 2, C&C Generals, Company of Heroes, Battalion Wars 2 (Wii), etc
these were referred by my sisters as "ant wars" since these were minuscule drawings on big sketch books
my parents insisted i draw bigger stuff, so i started to sorta zoom in on the soldiers, tank, etc, learning, practicing, leading to today
i've been itchin' to try to do battle scenes, but that's not my priority now.

Seems that we've taken the same path lol, I used to draw epic battles with tiny stickmen, then actual people too back in junior school haha. I shifted to detailed drawings after my parents insisted that I draw bigger too
However I still drew minuscule but detailed drawings on notebook margins until I started to grasp the dimensions of a full size sheet~

Hmm, i didn't know there were people who draw like this at all until now. Most people i know seems to prefer portraits.

Yeah, i didn't have my own personal pc or many good references until i was 16 so when i wanted to draw a tank i had to remember it and just draw it from memory.

That's what libraries were for back in the day for me
I tend to draw from imagination anyways, but today's completely different hehe.

Haha i knew there were books, but i stopped using those by the time i was 13. Yeah i also try to use my head more, it's better to be able to draw it from the back of your head.

Indeed, your mind is much more resourceful, not to mention that it helps at developing a healthy photographic memory as well

haha thanks. well i don't think it's a photographic memory because i still miss aot of detail. You can have good visual memory but good drawing skills are needed to put them on paper. But no matter how good my memory is creases would forever be a pain

Impovise with creases haha, no two folds could ever look the same, that's where the "Create" part comes in

Yeah thanks for the tip, maybe 1 day i'll finally get it right. Which would probably take years if i have the determination.

Lol this is pretty much what i kind of do, I just drew them in squares aligned in completely random orders, to resemble a comic strip i guess. I still do these sometimes but the squares are bigger and align them properly, looks alot like a comic. I think we have a similar art style and get inspired by the same games, but i'm a noob at drapery and modern revolvers when there are no references. It's a good thing to change priority so you can improve drawing anything at any scale.

Modern revolvers and semi-automatics are quite of a pain due to their particular grip shape. When it comes to cityscapes, you can just blur out some detail to create a field of depth effect, nothing has to be super fancy depending on what you aim to do.

usually when i draw cityscapes i just go tetris. nothing fancy, since it's not supposed to be the focus anyways.
