Thanks a lot for your kindly attention on my deviation.
The main message, as I wrote on the description field, is related to FRATERNITY; thatΒ΄s why I thought nothing better than call upon JesusΒ΄s image to support me on the objective. Not in the least I wanted to equate America with a persecuted (?) Jesus-figure.
Agree completely that 666 is a clichΓ©, as well as tyranny, despotism, oppressive rules, absolutism, autocracy, massacres, slaughtering, carnage, butchery etc... we are all witnesses day after day of these hateful clichΓ©s.
Why 666?
As far as I am concerned, 666 may also represent the Antichrist and I sincerely did not associate the number to SatanΒ΄s figure, this mythical display:
- The Antichrist, in essence, doesnΒ΄t mean exactly Satan but the negation of the good, according to the Apocalypse of John, 1919, p.641, 642.
- The Christ, in essence, doesnΒ΄t mean exactly Jesus, but a very high stage of spirituality (Theosophy - The Secret Doctrine, Helena Petrovna Blavatsky).
Well (what matters in fact) Jesus was human (like you and me). A man that reached the Christical stage (good news!!). Sure he left a very simple (and complex) message indeed(FRATERNITY/LOVE). So my intention was:
- Why all those humanitarian sentiments only on the Xmas? Why only once a year all those best wishes of a happy new year?
"My" 666ush just resumes the most famous tyrant of the present time (the anti-peace - where peace equals christical). For this reason, I assumed that adding the line was not an inconsistency for the image as a whole. Not even a clichΓ©, if understood in deep.
Of course, youΒ΄ve made your analisys based on your own experiences, sentiments and knowledges. ThatΒ΄s great and I render you thanks for that! WeΒ΄re different as well as ART is not an exact science.
By the way, I am not sure if it was a clever idea/metaphor by making Jesus red and blue as you said. Think I overloaded the statement a bit. Perhaps because I am really becoming a 666u$h-Hater, considering the recent unfortunate happenings.

bah, worse then reaching the limit...my site got Dosed.........over 1.6gigs of traffic in one hour...all the traffic was used on a 2k php script that did random header images....I'm pissed....
