Oh, I did visit your gallery! I really like the feel of that photo. And it is technically very nice as well. It makes me want to travel to Cambodia.

Philippines are also tempting. But I've gotten the impression people from the USA are not necessarily welcome there. But perhaps that is infrequent...

I think it was mostly because of the military bases. Protests getting violent. I haven't seen anything about that in years. Of course a lot of places where there are USA military bases there is some resentment. And the news companies tend to blow up problems into much bigger than they are. So that's probably what was happening.

It's actually a caiman. That is a separate species from alligators or crocodiles.

It didn't really move while I held it. That may have been because I held it pretty tightly.

Visiting the Amazon river was awesome. I really recommend the trip.

I understand that you are highly dependent on your parents. I hope you can get them interested in travel such as this. Another great place to visit is Galapagos. A very different experience, but still worthwhile.

I remember that I made some decisions at an even younger age that made a huge difference all thru my life. For instance I decided to not watch TV. That gave me several hours per day more than my peers to create new things and learn new things. What a difference that has made!
