# About me

Very amateur photographer, coming back to it after a 30 year break (ex Art course at College). Music is my passion, but enthusiasm for other things also runs alongside:)

As a side theme, just to show you can be really old and still enjoy what's new in music, cinema, TV, whatever, and you don't have to subscribe to the media view that the human body has to be 25 and perfectly formed if it's on display (mine is on display!). This week into Keane Disconnected, Imagine Dragons Radioactive, Pet Shop Boys latest album..

More excitedly I've just become very self-indulgent and set up my own wordpress blog for charts. That's my charts (plus a few sales charts) of mostly music from the 60's to this week. Also watching Futurama (back hooray!) Big Bang Theory, Family Guy & spinoffs, Dr Who. Once in a while I take photos too.

I'm afraid I dont know Bedrich, tend to hear stuff from the radio thats available (about 6 stations!). well done on not fitting into a category! My usual favourite quote from people is "Oh I love all sorts of music" and then they go on to list acts mostly from the same genre /age. I have preferred genres (pop, rock, dance) but Ive never come across a music form yet that doesnt appeal at least in part (by better acts): before I was 12 I'd been exposed to bhangra, Chinese, classical, country, reggae, rock, soul, pop, folk amongst many styles. I wonder if modern kids have a narrower MTV expectation....
