Recently I became of a tragedy that has befallen us all. There is a user of DeviantArt that I really admired. This user must have come against some stiff attack recently and had to remove a very large percentage of her gallery. The attack must have been about copyright issues.

I say this: DeviantArt and the items posted here are not about making money. This site is about spreading art, furthering the exposure of art, and putting art before ourselves. Does it matter if someone posts something here that is not theirs? The only benefit any of us get from this site is to help understand ourselves better through art which helps us make art with helps us understand ourselves better.

I don't give a flying fuck if you think a photo or piece of art is copied. I'm not here to point fingers. Are you here to point fingers? Are you here to put talented individuals down and discourage art? Are you here to beat down the very reason for the existace of DeviantArt? Are you here to beat down the very existance of art?

This is all about something a little more important than a copyright. It's about culture and expression and improvement.

Take your copyright and fuck off.

Driving Idiot Factor (DIF): When driving, I've noticed the number of lanes on the road is directly related to how confident some other drivers feel.

I could be following someone going 45 in a 55 on a two lane road. The road opens up to 4 lanes, so I try to duck around and pass. Lo and behold, I can't pass them because they're are going 1,000,000 MPH in a 55. All this due to the Driving Idiot Factor (DIF).
