You've got talent there, but you have to learn to draw more than just portraits and shoujos if you want to be good like the pros. Do consider taking up art classes and make sure it do covers on human anatomy sketchings

Wow, thanks! I do tend to draw girls more just because that's all I've been drawing for all of high school.
I am actually getting anatomy classes next year as well. I only wish that there were mech design courses in art school.......

Once you are able to visualise an object 3 dimensionally (front, back and side) and your knowledge on human anatomy is sharpened, then you would have no trouble to draw mechs as well
There are DIY books on 'How to Draw Mechas/Giant Robots', just go to your nearest bookstore and check it out.

I actually try to visualize every character I draw from a 3D aspect all the time, I just think about how the eyes and such would look turned to a different direction. Thanks for the advice though!

I actually got one of the how to draw mech books awhile ago, only problem is, it's made in america XD
