Haha XD Oh sure, you can borrow my talentz if you promise to give 'em back! XD
But really, it depends a lot on the wig you've bought^^ The one Millupigen is using started it's life as a very crappy L-wig, and it was so thin that I had to sew some extra hair on it^^
But! To achieve that puuuurfect emo duckbutt hairdo, the first thing I would do, is to put the wig on, and put some hairclips in, where you ears are, to mark who much of the hair that needs to be bangs, and how much that needs to be a part of the duckbutt.
After that, I'd take it of, and start spiking the back. You should be able to use the hairclips to make a straight parting of the hair over the top of wig, so you know how much hair to spike. When it comes to the spiking, it might help to turn it upside down, while spraying it with hairspray, and also to tease/backcomb(?) the hairs at the bottom, to make them fill more and get them stand straight out easier. I found it easier to spike first, and then cut afterwards, to that's what I did, and the last thing I did was to cut the bangs. And of course, you have to try it on a few times while cutting it, wig heads are a lot smarter than real human heads ^^
