for some reason you made an appearance in my dream last night. there was a small 60s style fan and hooks put on its metal mesh to indicate people who "followed" you -- as watchers here, blog readers, etc. so i crawled through the wall above the restaurant booth to investigate and you began a run in which you were leading your followers. at least a hundred, maybe two. a long, circular track. i waited by the pine then ran through the field in the center, nearly colliding with the three army men on their daily run. at the other end, i cheered your group on for fun but was shushed by the coach of the football team being towed behind the crowd. back i run, almost hit by a white dodge neon, what are these animals?, here comes the drag racers, awaken.

It was two years ago that I came across your DV site and the postings you display here for us to see. You art, both image and word, found me at one of those times faced by us all when the shimmer of the world seems to fade and a veil of insentience falls down and all around...

The passion you have for your craft is mesmerizing...having the effect of keeping the watcher trance-fixed, staring into the binary abyss...wanting better understand the artist and her art. And on that you deliver.

In these past two years I've traveled from the glaciers of Alaska to the palaces of Russia and all points inbetween yet time and again when I found some little cafe to log on at you have produced images that rival those I've seen and posted words that have stirred my spirit as much as the experiences in those far off lands.
