# About me

Hello. My name is LJ Rock. My friends call me LJ Rock, but you can call me LJ Rock. I am an artist, musician and writer from the Boston area. The bulk of my visual artwork is comprised of pinup and erotic artwork that celebrates the sensuous beauty of the full-figured woman, plus other things that I find interesting.

My artwork has always been something very personal to me. I have always liked to draw for as long as I can remember, and since I was in my teens (many, many moons ago!) it seems that most of my subject matter has been erotic or sexual in nature - but I’ve always kept most of my work to myself, sharing with very few others. Nearly twenty years ago I got involved with the online “size acceptance” and “fat admiration” movement, engaging with beautiful plus size women and others who, like me, found them attractive. Being a part of this community helped to give me a lot of confidence, and I slowly began to share my artwork more and more.

In more recent years I have switched over from primarily dealing with pencil to various forms of digital art creation. This has made it easier for me to share my work, and has also opened my eyes to a much wider spectrum of possibilities for artistic colors and textures. Now after all these years I feel that I am finally ready to really put it all out there and share my pieces with the world at large.

I am not a professionally trained artist by any stretch. Pretty much everything I’ve learned about art I have taught myself, and I still consider myself largely a hobbyist at this point – but I am excited to get my stuff out there and I look forward to getting some constructive feedback from the community here.
