It was great! I did not understand very well the mythology though.

The mythology described below the poem?
In Irish and Scottish folklore, the banshee (the phonetic transliteration of Gaelic bean-sidhe, or "woman of the fairy folk") is a spirit who appears outside of a family house in the evening and wails and sobs to warn the family that one of them will soon die; if she is heard crying three nights in a row, then the family knows that they should begin planning a funeral. When numerous mná-sidhe (the plural of bean-sidhe) are heard wailing in chorus, this warns of the death of somebody important, be it a political or religious figure... or, as I often invoke, Life as we know it.
In Irish lore, these fairy-women wail for the five oldest families (the families O'Brian, O'Connor, O'Grady, O'Neil, and Kavanagh). In the case of Brett Kavanagh, the fairy-women wail not in grief for an impending death but in rage and frustration for further injustice to women.
In traditional Gaelic society, which is strongly patriarchal, women could express (in a measured way) outrage and protest against injustice through singing laments. For example, a widow's backhanded praise for her husband ("and you only hit me once...!"). In the context of this poem, women expressing their anger over the election of a known predator to a position of power.
