Hello everyone, do you love dinosaurs? Have you played Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis? Well after 13 years a small indie team is taking up the task of creating a spiritual successor to a game that allows you to build your very own dinosaur theme park. allowing you to play as the park operator, visitor, and even the dinosaur this game brings things to the table no other tycoon simulator can. with very little time left to make this game a reality please help us and support them on kickstarter. www.kickstarter.com/projects/1…

Sorry that should be remove all brightness & contrast from the copy to make a quick shadow, reduce opacity then a linier gradient, dark to clear from the bottom up at reduced opacity, distort and blur edges.Β

You've got some amazing work in your dA gallery. Do you draw everything on the computer, or how do you do it?

Thanks RR

Β I start with a pencil drawing on A4 with spare limbs and close ups of small details such as hands, feet, teeth, eyes etc without to much shading as it is better to do this in Photoshop as a 3D layer. In Photoshop I colour and ad layers of fur, feathers, scales, folds etc. To finish, Lens Flare on the eyes & 3D Transform for the outline, then make a shadow, (the easy way) make a copy of the object, remove all colour & contrast, and distort, then Gaussian Blur around the edges. To save time I generally use a photographic background & try as much as possible to get the animal to interact with the photo, footprints, dust, reflections etc. Increasingly I am moving over to more digital art and less traditional art but that seems inevitable. Sorry for any spelling mistakes but I am very dyslexic & you can’t trust the spell check.
