Heello! I wanted to know if, when you are drawing dresses like Tessa's, do you use references? I have googled a lot and seem to get conflicting descriptions on the bustle/ back part f the dress. Tipsies?

usually i dont. but for example in the last dress i drwe i wanted to know how strings from a corset would look like, so i googled to get an idea, but i try to never draw as a google picture, its just to get an idea od a specific item.

Cool. I should be using refs, but I never do. Yeah, a future sewing is gonna be a Tess Dress/bustle dress. I have probably already asked you, but Wessa or Jessa (or Heronstairs, if you prefer.) Hey Palnk, I need an idea for something to draw (to practice my skills and such).  I just want to sketch out these two characters of mine (a couple containing a shy girl genius and her geeky, Matt Smith-esque boyfriend/science partner in crime).  What would be a good situation to draw them in?  Thank you.

uu hard one! mmm  maybe n a situation were they are both hyper uncomfortable. like a uni football match bench full of people very unlike them,  or a teddy bear store.. and theyd be terrified   heheh i dont know! XD
