# About me

Thanks for stopping by my page. :-)

I'm a photographer living in the state of Colorado, primarily concentrating on landscape photography, with the odd wildlife or macro image thrown in from time to time. Most of my photos have been taken in National Parks of the western United States, as I have loved the mountains since I first visited the area as a child.

I have a background in software development and astronomy, but photography is what truly makes me happy. Getting outside and enjoying nature is the best way for me to recover from the stress of my full time job. The biggest problem I have is that sunset comes way too early--I am not a morning person.

When I'm not working or taking photos, you'll likely find me at home processing images on my MacBook Pro, or out for a long run (training for my next full or half marathon).
