Yeah, I'm thinking about using my blood on drawings too, but I'm not sure how well the paper would react with that. Mabey I'll do a few tests..

it tend to stay fairly well, actually. i've used it acid-free charcoal sketch paper. the problem with using blood as a paint, however, is the way it tends to darken or fade with time, depending on the thickness of the blood. if you have too much, it clots and thickens and turns a really ugly shade of red-brown; if you have too little, it thins out and you can see clumps of cells. and obviously, given the fact that its blood, you can't just go to the store to get some more; so you have to make each stroke count.
well, maybe you could to the store but, it'd either be butcher, a meat processor or an illegal body parts dealer and well, the first one i could stomach, the second i'd rather not deal with and the third, i think i'd like to avoid unless the situation absolutely warrants it... like, oh, say, i need a helping hand.
