You've got potential here, kid. Keep practicing. If it helps, what I've done for years is study the art of people who draw better than me to see what they're doing right that I'm not, and practicing off that as well as with actual photographs. So long as you're not actually copying them, just studying their technique, it's a perfectly valid way to learn and improve.
Oh, and incidentally, to answer your question, I'm a bit too obscure an artist to get comments most of the time. Thanks for yours, though.
