I really enjoyed your "Celebrating our dominance series. Well done. You really captured the energy, and then made a statement. I really like that.

a circular polarizer (drastically, usually) deepens blue in photos...a.k.a. the sky or water. also removes (or enhances, depending on what you want) reflections

Hey tnemokidd, thanks for your lovely comments on i want to know part five !
I really glad you like the composition/cropping. To be honest, i thought about changing it and bringing them to the foreground, but in the end i decided against it.
I'm also glad for what you wrote about the photograph expressing a feeling of belonging, it's really great to hear you picked that up. Thanks!
Oh, thanks for putting me on your devwatch as well!

see that's funny, cuz all the video i ever was taught was to never look at the camera because that's considered direct adress and it breaks the fourth wall and thus the continuity, but it makes sense if you were taught to shoot televesion... film is another league though. ciao bello..

Thanks a lot for the fav and comment on "stylish rock and roll".
Yes, skateboarding pictures are tough to take. Most people donΒ΄t realize that until they try it themselves. The only trick I can tell you: take series!
If your camera supports series, use this program and take 3-4 pictures of the trick. ThatΒ΄s how you increase the chance of hitting the skater at the right moment. Or you can create little series of a trick like this one:[link]
or this
[link]
This works for me, since most of the time it is too late to take the picture as soon as youΒ΄ve already seen the trick in your camera. Too much delay...

Get feeling better soon! I was starting to worry about you (and now I'm still worried). I don't mean to go all grandma, but you don't call, you don't write... you don't come around here no more.
I'll wait until you're feeling better to bug you about the No War pins. I wish you the best of luck in improving your state of wellness, I'm sick so much that I can't ever remember what it feels like to be "well."

Have you ever had a dream, that you were so sure was real? What if you were unable to wake from that dream? How would you know the difference between the dream world and the real world?
What you know you can't explain, but you feel it. You've felt it your entire deviant life, that there's something wrong with the story. You don't know what it is, but it's there, like a splinter in your mind, driving you mad.
You take the blue pill, the story ends. Your browser closes and you believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill, you stay in wonderland. And, I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.
I offer only the truth, nothing more.
Take: The Red Pill
Take: The Blue Pill
spyed, nobody has ever done this before.
I know. That's why it's going to work.

since it's a little late for the no war icon, join the rest of us "hippie peaceniks" and put a black armband around your icon (you should wear one, too). it's a symbolic gesture that says you mourn the lives that have been lost and will be lost in this conflict.
keep up the rock of the indie styles, yo.
