Oh I have a story about TSoT
For the past two weeks I've been trying to convince my parents to get me the game, my mom saying "no", and my dad saying "its a cartoon, its not a big deal." And honestly I thought it would be a "no" right off the bat, so yesterday my mom finally agreed to get me the game. So when we went to GameStop, when my mom literally handed the game to cashier, he was like "who's it for?" And then I was like "Oh no" in my mind, and he told my mom a lot of bad stuff that was in the game, and then she was like "I don't know, hold on a sec." And literally called my dad, it was so embarrassing XD. So we left the store without getting the game.
But then later my dad called and was like "You guys want to go out to dinner?" And I kind of didn't want to go, because I felt like they were doing it because I didn't get the game, not to mention, I know they would ask, "Why would you want a game like that?" But I agreed because we literally had nothing to eat in the house XD.
So we were driving for the longest time when we went in a shopping center and passed by a different GameStop, and my parents just started laughing, and I told them it wasn't funny, but then my dad said, "We're getting you the game." And I was just like "Omg what".
So while my mom went to go get the game, my dad made rules saying that the game was more his, as he got to decided when, and how long I got to play it for, and one bad attitude about it is that I lose the game, because he doesn't want me obsessed with it, so I ofcourse agreed. Which this might actually be better because 1)I can't get too obsessed with the game. and 2) I hear the game is only like a 12 hour gameplay, which means its really short and I won't finish the whole thing in a day. So in the end, I actually got the game!

Honestly, the game was not as bad as people said it was, I actually think everything in the game would of been in allowed in the show, except for one, two scenes maybe? Not sure though.
I will say this though, the reason why some of it was weird, was the fact it was interactive, like some of it was so weird like giving Randy an abortion omg but I loved every minute of the game!
Yeah, I just caught up over my spring break about a week ago and it's sad because I only get to watch one episode on air, then having to wait till April 15th to watch the next one. Not to mention, the season 9 finale is on May 20th, and my school years ends on the 23rd, which means I'm going to have finals that week so I might have to wait until school ends to watch it.
Oh, and since the season finale is on my last week of school, that means when I get off school and have nothing to do, there will be no Supernatural, like, the hell is that? omg Dani, stop complaining, I complain too much.

Haha, yeah, I know it's something like that, my older sister took her AP World test last year, this year she has like, 2 AP tests this year, she's in AP Government and AP Lit, and AP Lit is a senior class with her being the only junior, but I think she has that test earlier than other finals because the senior get off school earlier, so I guess she is just going to have an extra study hall after the seniors leave or something.
I hear from a lot of people that AP World is like one of the hardest AP classes, a lot of my friends are taking AP Euro, but I just thought World would be more interesting.

Personally, AP World is a hard class for me, but it depends on what your teacher does.
My textbook is about 25 chapters, but 800+ pages, in which (sadly people do not believe me, and think I butcher the word "literally") I read LITERALLY the entire book. No skipping around, but the entire book. My teacher expects us to take cornell notes on each section, subsection, and subsubsection of a 30 page chapter, followed by 11+ notecards in form of vocabulary. Notecards are due on Thursday, but the cornell notes on the same chapter are due on the following Monday in which we take a short quiz for every chapter. And occasionally, we'd do practice essays by writing previous essay AP exam prompts. Apparently, our class writes the most essays in our campus because we need more practice for the AP exam. So far, I written +12 essays this year. I literally lost count after twelve because we wrote that much.
However, in my AP class during school hours, there's no thought process whatsoever. We just take notes on PP or videos, but my teacher is so laid back, he doesn't care if you don't take notes during class, but he wants to make sure we do our assignments.
My AP class isn't very hard intellectually since there's barely any thought process on it, but rather the commitment to doing the assignments. It's extremely hard at first, but later on, you kinda go with the flow! However, I do see why some people would find AP world history the hardest. You have to memorize everything that ever happened in the world. Try not to get into deeper though of the topic, because when you learn about Mesopotamia or Egypt or the USSR, you only have to know the basics and scratch the surface.
And for AP, it's for each grade. Like we can't skip to whatever AP history topic we want. It's strictly by grade for our school:
Freshmen >> AP World History
Sophomore >> AP Europe
Junior >> AP United States
Senior >> I don't think they have one since we are only required 3 years of history credit? Or I forgot lol

Oh, actually I'm in biology right now, I'm going to be chemistry next year, and then probably physics the year after, like my sister, but I still haven't decided yet. Well actually, my sister tried to take AP chem in the beginning of the year, but with our school we're on a block schedule giving us four out of our eight classes a day, but with AP chem, it was actually everyday, extremely difficult, and another senior class I believe, so she just switched to physics. My sister tends to make things a lot more difficult for herself sometimes. u v u
Oh yes, the AP World teacher actually came to our class one day to talk about AP World, he talked about assignments, tests, showed us the textbook, plus my sister also told me about it when she was in AP World.
But for my school, the system is a lot different than yours. You see, Julia, in our school, us students actually get to choose after freshman year. u v u
So in our school it's like this
Freshman >> United States Studies
Every freshman has to take this, which is so boring by the way! Haha. But after this we can choose if we want to go into AP or not, for this case, I'm just going to do this for AP because that's what the majority does.
Now for my school, which is likely the same for you, you only need three credits for history, math, and science, but four for english, but'll just stick with talking about history for now.
Now as a sophomore going into AP it's:
Sophomore >> AP World OR AP Europe
After sophomore year and going into junior year, people normally never go back to these two. Like let's say you picked AP World sophomore year, as a junior, you wouldn't go back to AP Euro, don't know why, it's just something we don't really do. But instead, I believe that juniors normally do this:
Junior >> AP Government and Politics OR MAYBE AP US History
Honestly I can't remember if lots of people do AP US History junior year or not, I think they do.
So surprisingly, there are actually a lot of people at our school who go for that extra fourth credit for the classes that require three (which I'm probably going to do too, I know for sure I'm doing and extra year of math so I can have five credits of math because I took Algebra in the 8th grade) So if you do the fourth credit then it pretty much goes like this
Senior >> AP Psychology OR MAYBE AP US History AND MAYBE EVEN AP Microeconomics
But honestly don't know anyone in AP Micro, just know its an option, but I do know the in senior, the majority definitely takes AP Psych, and maybe some take AP US History.
But I think I'm going to take AP Psych senior year, it looks like an interesting class!
That is true, but he did get Amelia for like, oh what was it, 6 months, or the whole year while Dean was in Purgatory? I can't remember.
Though, the whole Sam/Amelia thing never really appealed to me, I always got bored with their storyline to be honest.
But I will admit, it was pretty sad when Amelia picked Sam over Don but Sam had picked family over her.

That's true, Mishapocalypse just isn't really my thing. And I'll admit, I've had my doubts on the whole "Misha doesn't really like Mishapocalypse" thing, mostly because the SPN fandom seems to...overreact to certain things sometimes.
Like the Destiel fans and the thing at JIBCON5, I mean, some are saying they are literally not going to watch the first few episodes of SPNs10 just because Jensen was voicing his opinion that did not agree with Destiel. Like "Hey guys, guess what, I love Destiel, hell, it's my closet OTP for being canon, but I'm not going to spew out Jensen hate and boycott the damn show. Don't want to watch it? Your. Fucking. Loss." Like, I don't know, there are some amazing people in the fandom, but then there are others who just don't want to cooperate with you it seems like. Not to mention, it's very possible Jensen was joking about it, but even if he wasn't that's fine, it wasn't offensive anyway, some people are just acting like whinny children.

Yeah, frankly I was quite upset that day with the some of the Destiel fans, but at least some were happy with the Cockles that day and the fact they still had their own panel the following day at JIB.

Yeah, there just has to be certain people that tend to overreact compared to people in fandoms which is strange because let's face, we all overreact to tv shows, I know I do.
OMG YES THIS IS MY FIRST HIATUS FOR SPN TO AND IT WAS TORTURE FOR THAT FIRST NIGHT. But then I realized it was returning in October and I realized it wasn't going to completely suck because:
First: SPN isn't my favorite show ever
Second: I've dealt with hiatuses way longer than this with cliffhangers, LIKE GRAVITY FALLS FOR EXAMPLE.
Although Gravity Falls is only my second favorite show maybe first (South Park is my favorite) I'm actually more excited for GF than SP because when South Park airs it's season, it's ten episodes ten weeks straight, meanwhile it took Disney over an entire year to broadcast 20 episodes of Gravity Falls (which is another thing SPN, episodes are broadcast pretty frequently except for like winter and spring break) But Gravity Falls returns August 1, do you remember when the season 1 finale aired? AUGUST 2, THAT"S 364 DAYS SINCE THE LAST FULL EPISODE LIKE ARE YOU KIDDING ME.
And I'm not sure you noticed but I've been reblogging lots of GF on Tumblr lately, and seen tons of season 2 suff (more than I've reblogged ironically) And it looks absolutely amazing, like it's obviously going to be darker and that's just great. Plus in this season Dipper seems to get himself in some pretty serious shit so I'm excited for that.

Yeah, it's kind of ridiculous, but some people can't help themselves I guess. I'm not totally obsessed with shipping. Do I normally have an OTP in the shows I watch? Yes. Do they all need to be canon? No. It would be cool if they had there moments though.

Yeah, shipping isn't my number one priority when it comes to shows, its more the plot for me but some people just think differently. //shrugs//
Haha yes, the bill/dipper gave me chills when I saw it for the first time too, but I saw it in not so great quality the first time because it was just a recording from SDCC but then Disney XD put in good quality so "YAYA."

honestly i know nothing about gravity falls but maybe since he's wearing sweaters now, i assume we're entering into autumn, and if i remember correctly, dipper and mabel went to live with grunkle stan for the summer--so perhaps it let's the viewers know that dipper and mabel have to leave to their hometown? in the sense, it gives a climax leading to dipper's time span, suggesting that dipper doesn't have much time before he can solve this whole code?

Yes, exactly! SPN and South Park are probably the most problematic fandoms I'm in when it comes to shipping, and in general, haha.
But sometimes it's just like
"No, let's not do this."
"Let's just talk about the plot and character development please."
Because if you really think about, romance can really ruin a character. Like take both Wendy's from South Park and Gravity Falls for examples.
In the first few seasons of South Park, Wendy was only there for a love interest for Stan, she didn't really have a personality, you didn't really know anything about her except that she was the girl Stan barfed on. We really didn't get any information on Wendy until season 6 in "Bebe's Boobs Destroy Society", when she got mad and decided to treat Bebe like crap because she was insecure about herself, when even found out she was class president! And now Wendy has more of a personality. Do I wish her personality was more original and not so Kyle-like? Yeah, but it's still something.
Not to mention, is it just me, or has Kyle been a little...ooc lately? Like in the newer seasons he's not as smart as I remember, and Stan isn't as sensitive either?
Okay but going back on topic, the Wendy from Gravity Falls has also got me thinking she hasn't gotten some real character development because she was created to be Dipper's crush. Like you know, she was just this really chill teenager and that's why Dipper liked her. Almost everytime she was screen, Dipper would be there swooning over her. I was literally freaking out with Dipper in hoodie though like wow! But tbh, I think he was only wearing it because he was going to investigate in the night time and it was colder.
But it's interesting because Alex Hirsch said this season is going to be so much more plot driven because Dipper actually has a goal this season, and that is to find out who wrote the goddamn journals. So instead of there just being random episodes with random mysteries, Dipper is really going to try to dig deep into the Gravity Falls more serious secerts.
You know it's interesting because I was reading this interview with Alex Hirsch today (I literally do this with all my shows, like when one show I like is coming back from a hiatus, I get extremely obsessive, so expect some of this weirdness to come back when SPN is going to start)
But um anyway, Hirsch said that along with the mysteries, their will also be some part of the season where there is going to be this sort of tension between Mabel and Dipper because, it is revealed that this is their last childhood-like summer, because when summer ends, they're going to be turning 13, and you have Dipper, who feels he's ready to grow up, and then you have Mabel who loves the way she is. Then there's this other problem were Mabel is shown to be very social and Dipper not being, and I realized this season is going to tug my heart out and I am not prepared. HAHAHAHA.
But enough Gravity Falls because I know you're bored haha.

Speaking of ships and development, I uh, already saw the leak of GF's episode "Into the Bunker", I don't know if you already seen it but Wendy- Wendy gets some amazing development oh shit plus it was another plot with Dipper/Wendy and...well I can't say much but let's just saw I really enjoyed how it was done.
But I will say this about the episode though
HOW. THE HELL. IS GRAVITY FALLS. A KIDS SHOW? IT IS SERIOUSLY THE MOST FUCKED UP EPISODE THEY EVER HAD. SEASON 2 IS HELLA SCARY J E S U S.
BUT YES SCARY-OKE WAS FANTASTIC

I know! I really want to know that too. Unfortunately Stan is barley in the second episode.
But you know what's interesting? This season is giving me a feeling that it's going to be a little more Dipper-centered this year since we're going really deep into the whole thing now. Plus at the end of "Scary-oke" Stan told Dipper to stop digging because it was dangerous, and Dipper of course crosses his fingers, I think it's going to cause some major problems since we already know that there will be an episode with Dipper and Bill.
Plus there's also this thing I want to mention that happened in "Into the Bunker", but I don't know if you've seen it. maybe you already know from all those spoilers I posted yesterday though
Oh but I'm very excited for the tension, because you're right, they are almost opposites. Like whilist with the tension, I feel like with Mabel, we're going to have more of the light hearted stuff we had in season, but with Dipper it's going to be much more of the dark side. Take "Scary-oke" for example, Mabel was about having fun at the party and doing karaoke while Dipper raised the fucking dead, so I'm interested to see how it plays out.

okay so shamefully, because of fairly odd parents, i've done some hardcore shipping lately omg
if you have a twitter, you would totally understand because nonstop i've been posting nothing but tootie x timmy related stuff like screen caps, and even drawing them (i have so many doodles its not even funny), and reading fan fictions to the point where i believe i'm almost finished with all of them in existence.
it kind of comes naturally when i ship, like when i get into an episode, i don't find the opportunity right away to ship or otp stuff, it just happens. but when it does, it's hardcore shipping. but that doesn't necessarily mean i don't really care about the plot. plot is ALWAYS first no matter what! but when otp is involved, then i get jumpy omg omg omg

I remember I never really shipped Timmy anyone, but with watching a few episodes being older I learned to appreciate Timmy/Tootie more. Timmy/Trixie was..okay, but I actually really like them as friends, like that one episode where Timmy wished he was a girl and him and Trixie got along really well? Wait, Timmy/Trixie did get together in Wishology but everyone forgot right?

Oh of course, like in the 90s it was so different. Like I recently watch the entire series of Boy Meets World, and they have episodes that would never be on like a Disney sitcom today. I think that's the other thing with Gravity Falls, it's not that it's a dark concept for a kids shows, its that it's a Disney show, and Disney is know to be a pretty..innocent network.
But "Into the Bunker" is a surprisingly dark episode for Disney, like their was this one scene with Dipper and having to use an axe- it was explicit at all, I'm just surprised Hirsch managed to get it in there because he had many problems with season 1 like how he couldn't say "You suck." Or have a spin-the-bottle reference on a poster, the characters wouldn't even mention it but Disney still didn't allow it.
Little brother in the fourth grade? That's so cute, I only have an older sister who is going to be a senior in high school this year, blech. But I'm assuming there might be a secrets he doesn't get because there are just so many. Does he decode the codes at the end credits? Hirsch actually made it kind of tough this season, I know I had trouble with it.
Yeah, I believe Mabel and Soos are the biggest comic reliefs for the show, even Soos was cracking jokes when he was a zombie. But there is this one scene at the end of "Into the Bunker", and I say much but they obviously had to have Soos put comic relief into the scene because it was kind of serious. When you're watching the end of the episode, just listen for the "You think you're so clever don't you, Dipper?"Not only because it's kind of important and involves the comic relief thing I was talking about, but also so you have a reason to think of me when you watch the episode. o 3 ^

But y'know Mabel ships it from the episode "Love God". She had fucking CandyDip in her "Future Matches?" section of all those wooden dolls she made. I found it amusing.
Disney is starting to come up with some great animated stuff though. They haven't been doing so well these past few years, but with shows like GF and WOY it starting to have a comeback. Even SVTFOE looks amazing and it hasn't even come out yet.
I'm super nitpicky on all the shows I watch, mainly Gravity Falls and OTGW because there are just so many theories you can come up with. Especially for Gravity Falls because OTGW is already a completed series but it had a pretty open ending.
Yeah, that's really depressing. I mean, with Poof, Timmy actually learned life skills on how to be a brother and how he needed to work on doing things on his own like a person without fairies had to do because Cosmo and Wanda would be busy with Poof. It was one of the major things multiple episodes tackled when Poof first arrived. Like I feel like Timmy learned to appreciate his fairies more with Poof, but with the dog it really does make him more dependent of his fairies. Plus Sparky doesn't even serve purpose more than half the time, he's just there.
And yeah, my parents did unblock my tv! I was actually able to watch SP live which was super cool. The season was pretty neat too. The continuity thing they did this year was interesting. Repetitive at times, but interesting.

WHOOOO! another series i started is american horror story (i watched the three seasons on netflix, can't watch the fourth one bc I'm too far behind, so i'll wait till that shows). if you have netflix, i highly recommend you watching it, but its really scary and fucked up in some parts (but seeing you that watch south park, you'd probably get used to the fucked up parts lmao). also skins, but that's a little wonky...

Yeah, the animation for SVTFOE looks awesome. Don't worry, I already ship Starco. Yeah, Jackie and Tom sort of get in the of it but Jackie seems super rad and Tom is voiced by Rider Strong who happens to have portrayed my favorite character from Boy Meets World. So that should be fun.

I'm one of those who believes the Unknown was actually the afterlife and Wirt and Greg were lost in the woods because they were stuck in on which path to take- life or death. that's actually an interesting theory, and i didn't think about it that way until you brought that up. see, ana and i predicted that there was some revelation between life and death, where the graveyard that wirt & gregory went to was actually the graveyard filled with all the people and things that they met in wirt's dream, because by the looks of it, the time setting was really early. we just couldn't figure out what kind of atmosphere it would be, so we both concluded it was a dream. but that's another interesting take, too. and i like it a lot better than it being merely a dream...

you should definitely get into american horror story. the plot twists are crazy and you learn to love the characters a lot. personally, the first season was my favorite because the twists were epic, and when they all come together, it just makes so much sense. i got my friends into it B)
