Thou art fucking amazing. I remember learning adobe illustrator in my imaging class and the pen tool was a bitch to learn! Although I have somewhat of a grasp of it now, i still cant imagine how much patience it takes for the more complex things.

Hi
I'm working on a vector (with the help of your amazing Tutourial) and just noticed, that you use Adobe Illustrator.
Now the Question:
Which is better for making vectors?
Illustrator or Photoshop?
Thanks in advantage,
MrDollar

well, depends on the user preference. photoshop is a photoediting software with an additional function for vectoring (the pentool).as for illustrator, anything created in it is vector, because it is a vector-based drawing program.

hmm, sounds definetily logical.
Thanks for your help, I will see if i get Illustrator somewhere, cause many features of photoshop are simply useless for me

Hey, I have an illustrator question. Is there any way to make the eyedropper tool select colors from the bottom layer, so you can keep the top layer (Where you're vectoring) visible?
thanks

i often had that kinda problem too. i normally create a new layer, draw some square boxes at the sides, hide the vector layer and pick the color from the original image onto these squares. take it like some sort of color pallete. it gets really handy.

Hello, I was looking at your vector guide thing, and decided I would give it a try. But, I'm having problems finding good-quality stocks. Any suggestions on where to look?
