Your work is amazing ! This style of yours is really something special, I expected you to be 30 or something, but seeing you only being 18 blew my mind ! You're definitely going to be a great artist someday

I am glad you enjoy it! I've been drawing for as long as I can remember, but I did not really begin to develop this style and subject matter untill around four years ago. it was just sort of the direction my work began heading in as my interests evolved, and it was pretty much a gradual, fluid process. the work you see here in my gallery is about a year old; I have been very lazy with uploads, but once I get some new things up here, you will see that my work has continued to develop and evolve.

just recently got me a moleskine sketch book good lord its awesome! the paper is soooo smooth and the cover feels awesome too gunna have to buy theese more ofter they are a little expensive though and I've only done one drawing in it lol pretty much thaught of how awesome you're stuff is and thought "bugger it im buying one" good choice it was

I have not heard from you in quite some time; how are you!?
yes, I went to view Prometheus a couple of weeks after it came out, and while I was impressed with the industrial design, I found the story and acting to be rather sub-par in comparison to Ridley Scott's other films... the new version of the space jockey ('engineers' as they are called in this film) was also rather dissapointing in comparison to Geiger's original, and there was just some bad 'pseudo-science' in the film that I found very troubling... there were, however, some very exciting scenes, and the design of the 'proto face hugger' was pretty awesome, so... it was not entirely bad, or even very bad at that... I would likely rate it about a 6.7 out of 10.
in the art world... well, assumingf that that is not a world apart from the planet and reality in which we dwell, much is indeed very high up. I hsve sold work at a local art show, I have had some drawings featured in an indie magazine, and I shall be begining my years at RISD on Saturday!

HEY YEAH IT'S BEEN A WHILE. I'm good, been super busy but it's college and it's nice being on top of stuff. I'm not doing a whole ton of art in college YET but I do plan on minoring in it so I have one drawing class so far. Hooray! BUT- of course I still draw copiously in class and free time. Still trying to be on top of concept art and design. I am excited because I'm doing comp-sci and we may present projects to Gearbox!
I'm glad the industrial design was good, that's one of my main focuses when I look at Sci-fi design...! I've heard the same reaction to the story/acting. My film teacher actually was bothered by it because the people were (quote) "unbelievably stupid." Ahaha. I've seen Alien and I'm planning on seeing Blade Runner so I'll see how it stacks up against Prometheus (I still have NOT watched Prometheus though D
Ewww pseudo-science. Hard/most scientific sci-fi is best sci-fi, so awww dang. I will look out for the proto face hugger when I get a chance to watch it though! And hooray, excitement!

I can second that "unbelievably stupid" quote. Alien and Blade Runner are two of my favorite films, so you'll understand why I was rather dissapointed by Prometheus. well, no, Geiger was not involved much this time; that is why the space jockey design here is not very good in comparison to the original. but yes, Geiger is awesome!
Hard SciFi is always good, especially in novels and short stories, or shows like Firefly, but I do enjoy a good space opera as well, such as Farscape or Star Trek. I simply view space operas more as 'fantasy', rather than scifi... really, a SciFi Flavored Fantasy, if you will.

It was the Wickford Art Festival; essentially a little streetside event with a bunch of artists that often depicted landscapes and cats and beach chairs... my work was rather out of place, so people either really disliked it (and many were rather rude about telling me so, but what can be done?), or thought it was the greatest thing they had ever seen.
