To be honest I was wanting to try to design it myself lol not that I would be able to do as good as a job as Ger lmfao she's great at designing props. I've just always wanted to get into designing props and figured that it would be the perfect project to get started.

Oh okay then I see, well from what I saw she makes great stuff from high quality and it's not as expensive. Hmm yeah I know what you mean I was thinking of making one myself but I wouldn't know what materials that would be best and long lasting , I mean I've made stuff out of nothing before but certain props I wouldn't know where to begin with. Agreed she does . She made the Ebony and Ivory for me and is currently working on four things for me (Nero's buckles pants/jacket, Dante's buckles to pants/vest). I saw early pictures of the buckles for Dante's costume and they look great thus far. Can't wait to see/use the final product. Lol I know what you mean. I didn't even know what "Notes" were until after Shadocon when I received my first note from some1 I met there.

Lmfao what can I say I'm a repeat customer. Lol It was hard but I finally found somebody that's a bigger perfectionist then I am and how she always found a way to exceed my expectations with everything that I give her to design isn't an easy task. Trust me bro she'll be able to do a great job on the amulet for you.


Oh some iffy news. I ordered the awakened version of the Rebellion from a website and they stated that it's currently being made and won't get it until around the 10th. With all of the stuff going on at my job I might not have time to sand then repaint it if I don't like the color (handle dull dark stone like fished with the blade being bright metal)or the quality of the finish work done to it. Lol I might not even have enough time to add a simple clear coat then wet sand it to give it a realistic metal appearance on the blade. I hate being so darn picky sometimes lol all I really want are for the details to be perfect that's all brother lmfao.

Yes I can see this XD. Lol you have never meet my friend Carey (she is a perfectionist when it comes to cosplay) well that's good that means that she's really creative and can think outside the box , which means that she must get a lot of good business like that. As for the amulet I'm going to have to get it at another con cause yeah she is pretty full of commissions at the moment.What iffy news? That's cool, Hmmm I see well maybe it will come earlier depending on where it's being shipped from? Well what can you do if duty calls? I would say as soon as it comes to go at it and use as much time as you can and to not procrastinate to working on it and getting it done to your specifications.yes I believe you told me how the sword was before. Just do what you can if you can't finish then you can always just do it for another convention, that would cool though. Lmfao at least you have that "that is as good as it's going to get" thought pattern on somethings . Me I've always found myself getting addicted into doing things (Cosplay, 2d art, level designing, airbrushing and newest addiction props lmfao)and everything of that nature has to be perfect and well if it's not I usually find myself spending hours on the smallest details to get everything just right.

Won't have an amulet for Megacon that's illegal. I have most of the stuff to make another one (-the red crystal/necklace it will take me less then an hour to make one and should have plenty of gold paint left after I'm done painting the letting to Ebony & Ivory lettering to be able to paint the amulet.

Lol sad part is until that rest of the Silicone RTV arrives or the Rebellion I'm really not feeling the stress of getting things finished currently due I planned everything out extremely well and currently I don't have anything to work on. That will change in a few days assuming the Rebellion arrives on schedule and the silicone arrives Friday/Saturday like it's suppose to. Lmfao I guess it's the calm before the storm right??

hmm I see so basically you don't have the materials for certain projects and therefore don't feel like working on the other projects hmm what would they call this I wonder? Well hopefully it comes soon and that's good that the silicone will come around the same time as well as the sword. You just have to hope that everything fails according to plan.

Lol actually it boils down to having only an hour-two to tape off the silver the bondo (cure time varies)/sand for the Red Queen and then an additional 30 mins of painting. I'll could also paint the amulet as well which would take about 5 seconds to do. Main reason I'm holding off on doing that is that It's a pain to clean the airbrush properly and if it's not done right it's real easy to clog the nozzle. With that being said it makes more sense to hold off until I get everything instead of paint one piece then wait a few days then paint the next one.

Lmfao that reminds me I have to call the ppl that are making the Rebellion to make sure that it's on the way and curse them out if it's not. Fun times .

Well it sounds like you have an approximation on how long it should take you at least. Well that's fast are you done with the other amulet Already? I wanna see pics!!! XD I know what you mean my friend has an airbrush so trust me I know how it is and how frustrating it can get. lol still waiting on the stone to arrive for me to work on the other amulet and get it designed.

Oh I had to curse out the ppl that I ordered the sword from due to they decided to delay shipping until next week Friday because the sword isn't finished yet. They said that they'll rush the postage on it so I'll have it in time for the con (assuming I'm able to go lol.) The only thing that sucks is that I won't have enough time to modify it the way I want which means no hover effect . Oh well once I get the silicone that I ordered I'll finish the top half of the mold for Ebony & Ivory and get started on everything. It should be here Friday at the latest and I hope to have a plastic version of the Ebony & Ivory by Saturday night.

Bro, Idk what it is but with the news of the Rebellion arriving too late for me to modify it and not knowing if I'll be able to make it due to work it's really hard to get motivated into getting this stuff done. Hope I'll feel better about everything when that silicone gets here.

Bro, the bad thing is that it did come. The picture on the site was the DMC4 version of the Rebellion and well I'd have to say that it's by far the poorest attempt at the DMC3 Rebellion that I've ever seen. I could have done a better job in designing it and to think that they had from the 17 Jan 11 to work on it. To top off the poor design on it there's also a piece broke on it. I'm not sure if you ever heard of Cosplay House but don't do business with them due to their poor products. Can't wait to call them today and get a refund.

Bro, lmfao the bigger question of the prop is what was right about it. The blade was the correct shape but with all of the knots and dings in it, it would be unusable. The pictures were of the Awakening version of the Rebellion (late DMC3/DMC4) and it was the DMC3 version of the Rebellion (same one I had but shitty design). I mean everything about the design that could be wrong was wrong on it lmfao it was that bad . The worst part is that Cosplay House is jerking me around with getting the money refunded including the cost to get it shipped back to them. Honestly when I get back home from my business trip I'll contact the BBB (Better Business Bureau)for false advertisement/poor business practices and then take them to small claims court if needed in order to get the money back. Lol fun times ahead if you know what I mean.

They're giving me the run around with the refund. Last email stated that they don't provide refunds on custom items lol the only problem is technically due to it was a default product with no deviations from the site that it wasn't a "custom product" and even if they some how categorize it as such there is no mentions of not allowing refunds on custom product on the terms and service agreement. They obviously have no clue on who they decided to mess with lol. Can't wait to get home to send the pictures with emails to the BBB in order to make my case for false advertisements.

And bro, to get an idea of how bad the prop looked just picture how a novice would design it then take that prop and throw it against the wall several times and then paint over all the dings/marks without any sanding and priming in order to get some idea of how bad it looked. Lol I mean I actually added a journal entry on my DA page that was over 500 words describing my experiance with tme and how bad it was lmfao. Will probably make another one with pictures on my DA profile when I get back home.
