I just wanted to encourage you to promote your stuff actively. Send it publishers/advertising companies, get together with people who are good in writing to create a story/book/script. The other day I read an article about a girl (writer) who only published her stuff (vampire novels) as ebooks and that very successfully.

I'm figuring out how to publish on Amazon, i'm not sure of what i have to do about the copyright and payment issues, but i'm looking for that . I would really like to publish!

I reckon the trick is to puplish an ebook to kick it off without additional costs for printing and all that around it. As far as I know you automatically hold the copyright as you are the creator of your work. It certainly helps mentioning it in the beginning or at the end of your ebook. I reckon you need to calculate distribution costs (probably a certain percentage of your sales price) or perhaps licensing costs for what ever format you're choosing. I must admit I'm not aware of the latter. An idea would be to compose an animated movie to support your characters and last but not least you need to send your stuff to various publishers, news papers, magazines, tv broadcasters etc. to get the peoples attention. That is the most difficult part and the part most people fail. Good luck and yes, do let me know when you've got something published - I'll be your first customer

I'm writing to let you know that I made a book! It is not published yet but it is being exhibited in the Design Festival - Kids Love Design in Szczecin, Berlin and Jerusalem. A friend from Poland asked me to send her my book and she really liked it. I don't know if you are near these places but maybe you could go and look the exhibition. My book is called "The secret sound of the stars" Hope you can see it. Big hugs.

Long time no hear! I actually am only rarely here in dA lately. Reason is mainly my "new" family - I've got 2 kids now, who are very demanding and my "new" job, which takes too much time of my life, too.

I actually had to look at your portfolio to try and remember. And I think you must be the one I encouraged to make a living out of your great talent of illustration, correct? ... Anyway, congrats to your new book. Let me know when it will be published and I get a copy. I guess my daughter will love it, too. ...

Stettin (that what we call Szczecin, which is easier to pronounce I guess, but may not be really politically correct) is quite a distance from here. Every now and then we go to Berlin and as my sister in law moved there a couple of weeks ago, we may actually go soon again. Also, I googled for this Design Festival and it seems that it mainly happens to be in Stettin. Do you know if your part is shown in Berlin, too? If so, whereabouts would that be?

So, looks like you're on the right path! As I said, let me know when you're book is out and I will get a copy for sure.
