I'm not sure how to take your comment, but if you're dissing my work, then ok. I respect your creativity and commitment with your style, but just because it's not my style doesn't mean I'll be rude. I stencil for friends, not for "talent," so look elsewhere to see where my passion is at.

I was indicating that if your point was to reproduce a famous clothing image, than I think that it degrades and kills the movie.
If it was your orginal idea, than I still think it kinda hurts the movie.

Famous? I don't buy or support their clothes. And I was unaware that the idea had been attempted before. A friend asked for men in suits, and I did my own thing. Pop art is highly characterized by replacement, so it wasn't intended to be on the level of the movie. Like I said, this isn't my usual style. I rarely have movie or popular references in my work, so I don't mind the comment, and I appreciate the clarification. How long have you been doing sticker throwie's for?

a year and a half. Yeah its all good. Ive been doing stencils longer, maye 2-3 years and I think that method is just plagued with repetition and a strong lack of creativity. Alot of stencilers are creative, but more are uncreative. I cant take another hendrix or che stencil.

I agree. I definitely don't look at it is a way of showing much talent, only a little shows through if stencilers don't use photoshop and actually spot the values. It's still a really mechanical style, so I do some stuff just for fun, but it's not where my mind is at. I have much more personal ideas in the works, so no worries about producing another stencil that is found in every variation on the net.
