# About me

This is an account for RPing.

(Open for Rping! :D)

Formal Name: Paris, Capital of France. "The City of Love", but you'd be referring to his counterpart.

Name: Jacques "Lupa" de Bonnefoy

Height: 176 cm. Around 5'7".

Weight: 66 kg. 146 lbs.

"Age": 20

Background -
(Though pretty odd, this background is of him and how he came to be what he is today. His counterpart is Paris-Ohonhonhonhon )

Le 5 julliet, 1788

My counterpart, Amié and I had seen eye-to-eye on this descison. It was great timing. With the condition of the French now, something had to be done. With the starving people, them killing each other for a piece of bread, it was difficult to ignore the nobles enjoying their time in Versailles.

Today was the means to an end. A peaceful thing. Nothing more, nothing less.

Le 20 juin, 1789

As the barrage of people, angry and upset, had began to relocate to the tennis court, Aimé and I stood near the front of the crowd, tired and equally upset. Both of us had agreed, and neither had hoped to stop the making of the new constitution. Every man should be able to make himself, were our thoughts of the matter.

Le 14 julliet, 1789

We were at each other's throats.

Aimé wanted action, I thought it was foolish. Louis had to make sure that the situation wouldn't get out of hand, calling in favors from Marie's home to keep the civillians under control. It was foolish for them to try to stand against the trained soldiers. Aimé, however, had seen himself as the better of us two, and joined the crowd as they made haste for Bastille. I thought for sure that they would all be killed.

It was time for us to part ways.

Le 26 août, 1789

With little to no faith in this revolution, I had heard more than my want of the Decleration of the Rights of Man. I was no traitor. I was loyal, siding with my king and silently urging the sensitive man into passing this law, and allowing the commoners as much attention as the nobles and clergy had gotten. As much as I did so, however, Marie would shut me out, and my disdain for her had grown to dangerous levels.

This had better be solved soon, lest I regret leaving the people.

Le 5 octobre, 1789

Aimé was persistent.

I wasn't a fool, though. My scouts told him of the arriving crowd of women on the luxourious city-estate. I wanted to warn Louis and the queen, but no. The day shall come when there isn't enough time to act. Warning them will only result in more chaos, and more bloodshed. I left Versailles shortly after, and recieved word of the horror in the estate. Poor, poor Marie.

Louis had signed the Declaration of the Rights of Man.

Le 20 juin, 1791

Leaving the battle had only intensified the heat taking place in Paris. I had to be careful out in public--Aimé had made sure for his people to behead the "traitor". Marie had decided to flee to Austria for help, which was probably the better judgement. She has family there, a place for her to be safe.

More importantly, for the king to be safe.

With that being said, it seems as though she has a head on her shoulders after all, as the Austiran and Prussian armies had marched early on Paris to put down this revolution. What better way to solve bloodshed than more bloodshed? Silly Marie....

Le 18 julliet, 1791

I was cornered, rushing recklessly through outer Paris. I thought that I would be safe if I made it to my manor, but Aimé was smart clever enough wise en-- lucky enough to send some of his revolutionaries just at my door. I would have been safe if I made it inside...

There was a fight, and in my struggle one of the men swung a knife at my eye and split the iris right in two. I had no choice but to run.

I'm holding Aimé responsible for crippling me. I will carry it to my grave, should one exist. I'll have to be more careful around these humans, because they can indeed injure people like myself.

Le 11 septembre, 1792

Alas, did I not predict even more bloodshed?

The crowd was anxious and paranoid. A courier had delivered message to them, that the 3000 prisoners--a large majority being nobles--were planning an uprising. Before anything could be done, however, Jean Paul Marat led a mob to Paris, and slaughtered roughly 1600 prisoners, as a message to the advancing Prussian army.

Aimé came to me, offering to allow me to roam the streets free of charge, if I would once again join the people in the revolution.

A fool does not take on the world alone, and I accepted, with my loyalties still to the king.

Le 17 janvier, 1793

Adieu, Louis XVI. The guillotine awaits.

And as for Amié, I wash my hands of you.

Le 28 julliet, 1794

Aimé's tyrant, Robespierre, had kissed the guillotine. I'm glad that the man left, for now the country can rest its weary feet. At this moment, the thought of ruling the country came to mind. France, in my opinion, is little more than a placeholder for one of the most powerful countries in the world, and Aimé just didn't seem right to rule. The heart of the country had every right to rule, yes?

This I had thought, but...

Backgroud (cont.)

Jacques is not completely unlike his counterpart - mentioned in his backgroud - Aimé. However, he is noticably younger. He appeared only as a split part of Aimé during the French Revolution, however managed to completely cut ties with him once he rebelled enough. He'd initially taken the side of the nobles and the King of France, however, once the war was won and Napoleon had come into the picture, Jacques was forced into hiding. He was present during some of Napoleon's reign, but eventually he fell into a state of dormancy for the next 200 years. Only recently has he awoken to the new world around him, and he's very, very confused about it all.

Personality

Jacques firmly believes that countries and major cities such as himself were made to rule, and those beneath him (smaller cities, towns, humans) were made to serve. However, with all of the running he's had to do to get away from Aimé, his goal of seeing that happen has yet to have been recognized. Most of the countries around him he is unfamiliar with, as he hasn't been awake for so long. Because of this, he may not recognize very many countries.

He's rather "old fashioned", which is hinted at when he speaks and how he dresses. He keeps his rapier sword on a wall, but has never seen any use for it, and possesses a very outdated version of the gun, as well as a manor fit for a noble in the 1700-1800s. He's slow to adjusting to the world aroud him.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Name: Aimé Bonnefoy

Location: France

Apparent age: 24-25

Physical details: Paris is a pretty lanky young man. He has blond hair, going past his chin but can be longer if he hasn't cut his hair, and dark blue eyes. He stands at around 5'5 or 164 cm. Usually, he wears a nice blazer and a white button-up, but for the ladies it isn't fully buttoned, black pants and a fine pair of shoes. He tries to look his best, and it'll change with the season.

Personality: He can very easily come off as a snob or an arrogant person, but given all of the attention he receives from tourists, it's not that hard to blame him. Once he's finished talking about himself--unfortunately, this can take a while...--he's all ears and enjoys socializing with other people. He's very interested in talking with others about cooking, music, and fine arts (again, he might try to direct the conversation to himself). And, being the City of Love, he's a very romantic person, and enjoys flirting (it's a sport!). He takes pleasure in flattering ladies with small gifts, a long walk, or, his favorite, cooking her a nice meal. Perhaps even getting lucky~. He also tries to impress other male cities and nations with his attractions, and overall loves ingratiating himself with other people.

Relations with other characters:

France: It's safe to say that Paris feels closer to France than anyone else, but of course the two of them may begin to bicker over trivial things. However, these petty arguments are often instigated by Aimé, and usually around other people in order to boost his own ego. Historically, Paris is slightly older than France, and therefore considers France his brother.

England: England intrigues Paris. Though he and his brother engaged in feuds quite often, of course having Paris be involved, he doesn't completely hate England.

America (US): Paris often scoffs at America quite often when the country visits, from his manners to the way he dresses, but in all truthfullness, Paris is in awe of him. He and his brother were both inspired by the actions of America during the Revolution, and it encouraged them to take a stand as well. It can be safely said that while America and France are life-long friends, Paris is very envious at how quickly America had become a popular and strong nation. So it's not uncommon for Paris to talk about himself, hold his chin slightly higher, and speak French a bit more when he is around.

Canada: Paris enjoys Canada's company much more than he does America's, due to his quietness and his ability to speak French and sound like a native speaker, even if the dialect is funny... . Although he doesn't actively notice it, he behaves more humbly with Mathieu (how he pronounces his name) than he would with another country. He finds it easier to talk to Canada about personal feelings or small talk, more so than his brother, but just for the sake of not sacrificing his pride.

Germany: It's safe to say that while there isn't any active tension between them now, Paris is uncomfortable around Germany. He does his best to behave politely, from complimenting his language to enjoying his food of course not as good as his. He's tried his best to bury old wounds, but he has come to terms with the revelation that he is afraid of Germany.

North Italy: Feliciano is probably the only other nation Paris considers to be a threat to his superiority up to par with the arts: cooking, painting, and music. He thinks Italian is a colourful language, but wouldn't dare admit that aloud. He also considers N.Italy to be a bit of an airhead, but he enjoys spending time with him.

South Italy: Paris tries his best to be polite, but he tends to get very snappy with Romano. He doesn't like his attitude, and in many ways considers N.Italy to be the "superior" part of the nation.

Personally, Paris isn't that close with that many of the Asian nations, but that doesn't mean he wouldn't like to get to know them!

Brief History:

One of the most memorable moments of the Hundred Years' War is the arrival of Jeanne d'Arc and the revival of French spirits. Jeanne was very much a sister to Paris, and upon her death, he had developed a bitter hatred against England that eventually calmed over the hundreds of years. Not only that, but he has found an ally in Scotland during that time.

The Black Death was almost the end of Paris. Not only did it occur during the time of war with England, but Paris lost two-thirds of his population; it nearly killed him. If he is sick for a long period of time, the thought of the Plague returning comes to mind, and he becomes afraid of dying because of it. Why England only had a third or fifth of his population wiped out makes him even more bitter.

The French Revolution was the second time that Paris thought he could actually, really die. He supported the people in overthrowing Louis XVI, but was sentenced to the guillotine more times than he could remember by nervous and bloodthirsty citizens. (See headcanons for more details) While he establishes it as a changing moment in France, it's one of the more traumatizing events in his history.

During the time of the Napoleonic Empire, Paris' ego increased tenfold. He was proud to be able to call himself a threat to the British Empire and a superpower in the world. Of course, unfortunately, after the embarrassment at Waterloo and the failure in Russia, he and his brother had been knocked down to size.

World War I and World War II are probably the more traumatizing events of his recent history, more so in World War II when during the German occupation of Paris, he, for the third time, feared for his life.

Headcanons:

- The Eiffel Tower is his heart - figuratively
- One-on-one dates are a bit awkward for him. Usually he'll try to invite a friend. If not, he'll likely take her out to see a nice film or a play. Or to a football/soccer game!
- He prefers wine, and on occasion whiskey, but overall he's not that much of a drinker. He also smokes on the occasion.
- An exception to the above is when he drinks on Bastille Day, mostly to cast away such bloody memories. There is a faint scar on the back of his neck from the many, many times he was sent to the guillotine.
- Sundays are special days he uses to spend time with his family - under no circumstances will he use this day for something else.
- *RP-related* At one point in time, he tried to form a BTT of his own with Berlin and Madrid. It did not go well...
- Ask him to cook, and he will do so without a second guess.
- Though he tries to play it cool, rejections sting him quite a bit, and he'll be in quite a foul mood for a day - especially if he is rejected for someone that he knows well.
- He's pretty lazy...when he isn't working his fingers to the bone, he's usually reading a book or on the phone, or lazing about in the park.
- He has a French bulldog named Marianne.

(Sorry if its crappy)

The American girl after a long day of work had decided to go for a walk, the day was warm so she was soon tired, she passed a hand through her blonde hair as she searched for somewhere she could sit, she finally found a bench, she ran towards it and sat down, sighing in relief.

( Late response is late DX )

Paris huffed--a long day of work required a long day of relaxation, just to balance it out. He lit a cigarette and stared up at the sky. He wasn't counting on anything to fall out of it, but for some reason he wanted to flow up into it. Things have been a bit heavy on him, thanks to his lazy 1p. But it didn't matter at the time, he'd talk to him about it sooner or later. He sat down on the arm of the bench, only looking up breifly at the girl sitting on its other side. "Bonjour." He muttered.

He raised an eyebrow for two reasons: one, he didn't really expect to get more than a wave, and two, she spoke english. He frowned a little. It wasn't that he couldn't speak english, it was just that he'd have to repeat himself from time to time, because of his accent. That, and this girl was very energetic. Yay. He thought for a moment, staring her up and down, at what he should say. "So...what brings you here, exactly?"
