Thank you for favouring The Even More Impossible Dream, which your interest in my technique inspired me to 'knock off' as a demonstration of how 'reflected stereography' 'works'. As you can see it works quite well, depending on the subject. No special trickery is required for the vertical reflection.

I woke up today to find so many messages about Stereo images you'd favoured that I still haven't really checked everything that you've favoured. I do know that you are among the first to show any real interest in my 'trick' stereos. When I discovered the recipe I tried it on all sorts of things and it works best when most of the details near the 'join' are closely placed in the 'depth' dimension:
Β In this one there are hardly any 'mismatches' to disturb the free viewing adept because I'd found a practically ideal subject. Simply pasting a reflection of the upper half over the lower half would produce a quadrilaterally symmetrical egg shaped thing hanging in space. You could try it yourself with this one. You appreciation is enormously encouraging.
Too late! I got there first:Β
Β This was done in the few minutes since I first posted this comment, with modifications. It really is that easy.

Thank you very much for favouring Back To The Future In 3-D. I consider this a bravura piece of synthetic stereoscopic collage as no actual stereo pairs are involved, they have been sculpted from 'flat' photographs. The technique is not secret but I still await its copying or emulation by anyone else. As far as I know works of this kind are still unique to aegiandyad.

You've been incredibly busy. Thank you for favouring some of the 2-D work as well.
Stay safe, as they say these days.

Thank you so much for favouring my V & A stairwell stereo pair.Β I was beginning to think that I was all alone here. Please visit what might be one of the largest and most diverse stereo galleries here:Β www.deviantart.com/aegiandyad/β¦Β [there are some 2-D misfiles in there]
You've made an excellent start for one who has only been here for a day. Welcome to dA. i will be watching to see more 3-D images.
