Well, i would say since of my chillhood. Like when i was 9 or 10 years old kid. But not all the time. I had some times off. Last "pause" took about six years.. I definately came back in january 2009.... Still getting myself into the process

I've been drawing since around 9 of 10 as well. Do you usually like to draw people? Where do you get your technique? i've been needing to expand on my skill. Do something out of the ordinary.

Drawing people, human figure is my favourite work. I'm enjoying it pretty much. Most of all. My technique is coming out from years of experience. When you take a look on my gallery, on my first picture there, you can see one, really amateur one. It only shows where i'm now, how far i got so far.... The most important thing is staying focus, learning from mistakes done before and keep that in mind. I get myself this far because i always learn something. Yes, sometimes i do the same fault again, i'm not perfect... but i'm workin' on myself. There is no technique how to draw. Everyone have to learn it and find own way. But it's hard. Belive me, i spent this year on drawing so many hours trying to move forward. Results are in my gallery.

And your skill shows. I know what you mean about being focused. Which is something I need to work on. My focus has been very fragmented for such a long time because of life, but i try to not let it get in the way.

Well, i actually have really big problem with staying focuse too. It's my weakness. What matter the most is that you have to keep working on your skill. Really hard. That's the only way how to get better. You can't learn how to draw just by watching dumb tutorials or somethin'. It's up to you.

your totally right bro. i think thats how it is for most people. i have a hard time focuses, but the older i get the more i realize i need to get my shit together and take certain aspects of my life in order. like my artistic ability.

eh, this is nothing. i don't really have the means to post my newer pieces. but it's all good. they exsist and thats what matters to me.

if you don't mind, i'd like to know more about your technique. you said you don't blend? tell me how you get the pencil to look so smooth then. i'm very interested.

i started drawing by using a pen and ink technique i pick up when i was little, so i have nack for using conture lines. but i'm always willing to expand my skill. i like to work in any kind of medium, but pencil is my favorite.

thanks

I draw in layers and keep the pencils sharp. Its more along the line of crosshatching for the darker areas but the main part of the drawing I follow the contour of the muscles with single lines.

I agree with you, I can work in any medium but pencil is my favorite too
