I like your autosignature. I often feel like I know people better than they know themselves, but then wonder if it's because I'm seeing them through the filter of my own personality, projecting thoughts and feelings into them that are my own and nothing more.

Thanks man, I much appreciate it.
I think that quote is a product of my ventures in philosophy, which has meant a lot to me.
And you understand it perfectly~

Yeah? What philosophers have you been reading? Any particular one that inspired the quote?

haha uhhh... I'd love to hear your explanation sometime , cause I just don't see how you can prove it haha

hexocain In reply to ATrueNorseman [2010-01-01 20:05:40 +0000 UTC]
Ha, it wasn't exactly a philosophical statement, more of a self-help tip, so I see no reason to try to prove it.

the quote was from my own studies/research , but if u had to say it forms like any one particular philosopher, I'd go with Leibniz. Even more particular: his "Monadology" and "the Ultimate Origin of Things"

Hi there,
You asked about my use of dashes (I'm replying here because I am taking the poem down to send out for publication) in 'Juggling Light' -- the reason I used them? Because they were the correct punctuation mark to use. I am a grammar stickler and would not use something if it wasn't correct. So "hard to read" (er, two dashes in a whole stanza...?) or not, they were there because they had to be.
Hope that clarifies.

Yeah, sorry -- I take them down pretty quickly as most zines say they won't accept 'reviously published work'... I don't know if dA counts as publication but I'm not taking any chances!
