# About me
Iβm ex- military, now I just work as a gun monkey overseas. I was never as good at art as I wished, so I had to find a job I was good at. So here I have been for over 6yrs. I am trying to get back into art being the Sci-fi geek I am. I want to learn digital art landscapes, vehicles and some manga. Not doing a good job if it cause it not easy getting videos or help here. Still learning my tablet, and the few software programs I have. Any advice, or tips is welcome. I am just now finishing some pics i started backbeteen 2002-2004 form deployments transfering form the paper to digital is not easy.I used manga studio 4ex,EX and skchable with a Samsung galaxy book. running on a windows program.
i still cant figure how to put talking ballons in the comics yet.
the new inspiration to get back into art has been most of the people on my friends list here. i started my main character about 23yrs ago and just never got around to refining him or the story line to get my own comic going. mortal kombat,duke nukes and the punisher along with odd sci-fy tv shows and movies are the insperation for him and his world. i want to say thank you to all the individual artists whos comics i have been happy to see evolve and update while working over seas these last 14yrs.

ouch!, I hate flying except in choppers.Β I know the feeling on traveling to see family my next R&R isn't till about May when I leave Afghanistan for about 14days to see my wife. thank you andΒ be safe.

havn't posted anything in a while the heat an dust here in Afg cooked my laptop. an on the way back from being repaired they cracked the mother board. hoping to be up an running again before Dec after im out of here an a new job closer to the wife in Qatar. all my friends,watchers and the watched you all keep up the good work.

i want to say thanks for posting my fanart on your comic page. im really trying to get my own stuffup and running after 15yrs. i still need names and designs for about 15 more chaacters to gett my comic going.im not doing it for money or fame it more of a bucket list thing. anyway thanks you you all. any advice is welcome. and here in afganistan i got the time.

My biggest advice to you: Get a tablet. Or a scanner. Never, ever try to draw using computer tools.
