# About me
Hi there. I love drawing, writing, and occasionally creating music as well, but another huge part of me is studying and photographing animals. I'm most enthralled by birds because of their incredible diversity (and by foxes, wolves,bats, and tigers, my favorite animals), but I'm often excited to learn as much as possible about most of the rest of the natural world and how it works. Creation is so fascinating! I recently graduated with a Bachelor's in Biology and in Psychology. Hopefully in the future I can pursue Art (likely Art Studio), English/Creative Writing, and maybe something else, but the levels are still undecided currently. School takes so freakin' long!

I have only been taking photographs for just over 3 years and any comments and / or critiques are most welcome. Β I am still learning and they help me develop and learn with any tips or techniques that can be given.

I have a less-than-fantastic camera, so I can't help you too much in techniques for getting the perfect shots (as is evident in my lesser-quality photos).Β
But what I do know, from experience, is simply to observe EVERYTHING. If something catches your eye, take pictures of it, and look at it from multiple angles. You will learn very much just by doing this (which is why I'm pursuing biology to begin with: my photographing birds got me hooked on observing their behavior).Β
Don't limit the way you take pictures. Unfavorable pictures can always be weeded out later. If the camera allows for different modes and shutter speeds, play a little with them. Your experimenting will help you find what works in different situations. Just take as many pictures as you can of something that YOU think captures a great aesthetic. Even if it's some rust on a pipe, if you find beauty in it, take a photo.
I feel self-conscious of when I stop and admire birds and nature and different beauties in common things, but then I remember that what everyone else thinks doesn't matter: it's your enjoyment of nature, and don't let others compromise that by their scrutiny. Everyone else would prefer to look at their phones anyway, so what's it to them?
