I'm actually noodling with different styles for each one since it gives me the chance for a huge amount of artistic experimentation. For each set of Pokemon and their evolutionary forms, they get their own style. For the Bulbasaur-Venusaur, I was actually very much inspired by one of my favorite webcomic artists. For Charmander-Charizard, I wanted to do something lineless, and for Squirtle-Blastoise right now, I'm looking at Okami artwork for stylistic reference. I also know what I'm doing with Caterpie-Beedrill, so I'm hoping that turns out good as well.
