there is no byword in Japanese.

A lot of your traditional work has nice clean lines, and when it comes to shading, you've got a very good idea of light source and the dark/softness of the pencil. I loooove that about your work.

You're very welcome. It was the only picture which I thought really captured the romance, drama, and elegance of the series (the comedy is absent but that would probably not add anything to the picture). The lines is really smooth and round which gives it a gentle feeling, and the brush strokes really exhibit an artistic freedom which adds to the originality of the picture. Even when painting outside the lines it only reinforces the freedom, and almost transcendence, which the picture conveys. The only thing I could criticize is the subtext. But that is mostly because of the implicit value system it transmits, and that is an argument best left to other forums.

At the beginnig I didn't intend to make a wallpaper, everything was something like experiment. Because of that, the subtext can be unsatisfactory for everyone ^^'
About the colours etc.- the greatest thing in Ninomiya's drawing is simplicity, so it wouldn't be good to damage the character of this series. Although it's a comedy, this is how I see it - no just crazy, but above all beautiful. Making this wallpaper was really enjoyable
