# About me
Heya, I'm the Huntress ------>><>Manga style art is a hobby of mine which I got into a few years ago because of 'Gladiators' and I've done a few requests from the girls. But I'm still very much an art novice and self-taught. Due to work commitments (engineering...I know) I'm not a prolific artist, but quality over quantity right?
My OC 'Ammynal' is an amazonian lioness (yes, I know that there are no lions in the Amazon...but obviously the creators of 'Gladiators' don't know that). The only reason I continue to draw her is because there is so much support for unusual art like furries and muscle girls on DA.
Horses are my other passion and I'm lucky enough to have a fantastic riding coach and her horses to go to dressage events with. Appaloosas are my favourite breed because they have the most wonderful coats!

Wow. Your art is pretty good, and you mix it up with cute drawings and muscle drawings as well. Definitely watched 
I don't know how GIMP works (I use photoshop), but when I color I like to keep one layer for the flats and then have another layer on top of that for the shading. And while it's not an ideal program yet, Manga Studio is a very affordable alternative to photoshop if you're looking to get into digital illustration. I haven't used it but Lar De Souza who draws the Looking For Group comic swears by it.
