I think the suggestion from a certain manager was just a joke, but he looked dead serious and sort of showed some expression making it look like they were that desperate. x_x I was all like... "um... I don't even know my way around the store completely, lol where is the truck and big freezer?" in my head and like "I still don't really know all that's needed in the bakery."
I think it was a joke and he was just messing with me. Person you helped because everyone else dumped work on him.

Ummm the meat department guys all asked me if I was ganna be the new manger. Umm I know where all that stuff is. And I can bake most of the stuff and do inventory but I an't do any paperwork.
I think they really are that desperate because Wendy has been trying andstil can't find someone to replace her.

If we could be some sort of oligarchy/diarchy/sociocracy/cryptocracy remix, would you go for it?
Would you mind being the manager (if eligible and if they approve) if we could count as one unit's worth of managerism/a.k.a. combined full-time?
It's not like we don't share everything that happens every day anyway, we both know most of the goings on even when it wasn't our particular work day.
We could spare ourselves a worse fate (a.k.a. imported manager... from Hell) and I don't think Lana or J.D. would disprove *too* much, considering they didn't want to be it themselves.
Also set down rules covering every single thing that can go wrong and ways to fix them, like you said with the picky customers and the cake price revision.
Sure, the customer "is always right"... but that doesn't mean we can't charge them for it. 
Think they'd be desperate enough to go for that or just be like "nah, go away, we'll deal with it"?
I think we should re-instill reduced price doughnuts, though, and petition to reduce their general price very slightly (0.45 maybe instead). They're not a huge profit, anyway, and if it gets more moving it's good. To save time, do reduced price boxes on weekdays but not Friday-Sunday (our busiest days). Those days sell more doughnuts anyway... maybe not Sunday, but still. At the least we could get rid of the leftovers in ways other than total disposal (it'd save our backs when throwing them out, anyway). That plus reducing doughnut production on non-selling doughnuts (i.e. glazed when we have 12-ct boxes of them and cherry in general) and keeping note of and upping production on doughnuts that sell out are things I'd think would be good.
Oh well. *ramble, ramble*
Obviously I think it sounds like "fun," in a sense. :X I could probably keep ranting about everything in want of fixing.
