Hey, there is a snack in indonesia called kroket too...Well, since the dutch came here a long time ago, they have left some words behind too...Is it a kind of round thing filled with veggies and meat, covered with breadcrumbs and fried till golden brown?

Yes it is! That's fun, I thought that the kroket didn't really exist outside holland. Atleast not in that way, but apperently it does ^^
We have some indonesian food here in the netherlands too, although I think it's some kind of dutch interpetation of indonesian food, but I really like the 'rijsttafel'(ricetable) as we call it here

Oh wow...I googled it and found out that we have it here too...Exactly the same...Here, we call it Nasi Tumpeng...Literally translated means...Ummm roughly coned rice...It's used for festivities and parties...The big pile of rice with lots of meat and eggs and lot of other things...How nice it is to see Indonesian food out there in Holland...
