Hello! If you're aiming for stronger colors or more realism, the trick is not to be afraid of darker colors and saturation (it worked for me)

Although I haven't uploaded any tutorials yet (I plan to :) (Smile) ), these two have helped me immensely: andantonius.deviantart.com/art… and scalpgoaty.deviantart.com/art/… (to paint like this person it is good to have a grasp on cool x warm colors and how they can be used to enhance a painting - which is covered on the first tutorial. Basicaly, the trick is = use cooler colors on shadows and warmer on lighter areas, or warmer colors on shadows x cooler on lights)

Value is very important as well! Roughly, it is about seeing your drawing in grayscale and noticing how it "makes sense." Human skin, for example, looks usually darker than how we paint it.
