I had a great time in Arizona - it was the first time I had been in that type of desert environment. I want to go back sometime (hopefully soon) to photograph the abandoned mining towns - while they have their own beauty, they are also an amazing part of history.

There are some ghost towns outside of Taos, New Mexico and around Creede, Colorado. I've posted a few pics of these on DA. I love the desert environment because there's no humidity and my sinuses clear out :-) (Smile) Did you see the desert hills with different bands of color as captured by Georgia O' Keefe in her landscape paintings of New Mexico ?
