yuss, hopefully. i'm gonna do mechanical engineering, but i'm not sure where at yet. Lancaster was looking good though.

Thank you muchly - I think the shoot went quite well , but I did borrow my mum's posh camera.

aaah, our cameras pretty old now so my photos aren't the best. i was going to get up to take pictures of the sunrise, but i was too lazy >_<

I'm moving to London! I got a place in London Metropolitan at graphic design.
I'm a bit scared, because I've never visited London or the UK, but also excited to be back in school and about all the new adventure with everything.
I'm a little concerned about the hole driving-on-the-left thing - but I'm sure I'll double check everything before crossing the street and I will get use to it.

Oh, I was scared about everything on DA at the beginning, but - don't despair - you will see there are a lot of great artists and people here and you will get use to all the stuff going on - and gain confidence in you!

Oh, no, I don't drive, I'm just afraid that I'll be looking in the wrong direction and get squashed by a car or something! I'm already a public transport fan since moving to Vienna. (I'm Romanian btw).

And about "having some questions" - uhm, not really, not yet. Is it something vital that I should know? I'm mostly interested in courtesy rules - I'm afraid I'm gonna offend someone without knowing. Oh, and which zones should I avoid in London? (regarding criminality or dubious people)

oh right all cities are essetially the same !
if you have free time , you could travel around the UK there are some really nice places outside London

I don't know yet what will I do, but I would love to visit everything that is visitable in UK.

I was here for 2 years for some art workshops, courses and mostly sightseeing.
Have you seen Vienna?

oh right ! Salut!:L I went to Romania this year . where abouts you from ? I went to Sibiu -its such a lovely country!

I don't think we have any different courtesy rules really. err as a nation we drink a lot , and makes jokes about ourselves, and cue up . I think that's about it!

About London , I'd say just don't go out at night by yourself, maybe avoid big housing estates.Oh and be weary of charity people - don't give them your card number , there was a scam a couple of years ago. I hope that helps

Really? You went to Romania?
Well, I'm originally from Cluj in Transilvania, but now my parents live by the sea in Constanta (and that's all the way across the country).
I'm glad that you liked it! And yes, Sibiu is one of the most beautiful Romanian towns.

Thanks a lot for the advice! There was a scam with card numbers and charity here as well - as in Austria. So I'm well aware about that!
