She took a knee and hid behind a wall, staring silently at the strange battle.

Karai jumped from rooftop to rooftop, sleek black mask tight on her face as she went through with the simple orders of her mission from Shredder: Find the turtles and destroy them. 
She paused from attempting another jump when she heard the peculiar sound of...chewing? Really loud, annoying chewing, ask if whatever was making that noise was enjoying something way too much. She followed the sound, which was tracked all the way to, by her luck, a turtle, or course. The youngest of the turtles, casually walking on his own while munching on a slice of pizza. She grinned behind her mask and hid behind a ventilation duct, spying him closely.

She grimaced at the sight of the abandoned pizza, but soon shook off that daze. A sadistic smile began to form behind her mask on her face as she slowly inched closer to the young turtle, while he was still blissfully unaware of her upcoming surprise attack. Her hand gripped the handle of her blade, drawing it forth and holding it steady to ready her attack. Just a few more steps, and she'd be in jumping range to attack...

It was too late to realize that he already turned around and saw her, but she jumped anyway, yelling a fierce battle cry as her blade was raised high above her head, ready to strike from above in a deadly arc.

Her sword connected with rock-hard concrete instead of mutant skin and bone, sending an ear-piercing grind to her senses. She winced, but stood back up and steadied herself into a battle stance. She attempted to charge the orange-clad turtle with another raised-sword attack, shouting "Hold still!"
