Just because I'm a Luna fan doesn't mean that I see things like the way you put it in that delightful story, cracked me up really.

I can understand Luna's perspective and Celestia could have really done a lot to help Luna.

I mean I think just spending time with her might have helped.

Well I'm glad I could make you laugh. Making people other than yourself laugh is always an achievement.

Your right that spending sometime with her could have helped. But it's worth remembering that Tia was young herself and probably had a lot of trouble adjusting to being a princess (and if you go buy the fan-theory that Luna sleeps during the day Celestia was probably doing 90% of the work). So with all her own problems it was quite easy not to see how her sister was feeling until it was too late.

Though that does conjure up a funny image of Luna trying to talk to her sister only for a totally exhausted Celestia to say "Just let me rest my eyes for a second" and collapse on her bed, already fast asleep.
