Agreed, This whole "Video Game inspired Rock" movement is very much like the early punk movement in the 90s this band has great potential and immense tallent
i hope that soon they can expand there stage show to the scope of that which is Pink Floyd's The Wall

Compared to the other popular VGmusic bands like Game Over, Minibosses, and The Megas, The Protomen really seem to approach the concept from a different angle going at it as high art that stands alone without need to know the source material. The fact that their rock can expand outside the existing gamer audience gives them a lot of potential. You don't need to even know what Megaman is to love The Protomen. That's a good sign of something with potential to break out of the niche VGmusic has been confined to thus far.
