Hey, fine as well.. But keep in mind that this lady can not afford the fancy photoshop software you own. I use standard PAINT, as it came with Windows Vista Basic. So it will not look near as good as your stuff.. I know!

just a question, small one, if you do not believe in God? Why fav my picture of him? Why believe in me then if I believe in him, you don't know me either, and you can't see me. All you see is what I write or the pics I post, and if you want to see something God wrote, try the bible. It's a bit confusing... you dont need to answer, and you can probably erase this. I was just a bit curious?

It would take about half a millennium to explain my reasoning behind it, and you would never truly comprehend the fact in itself. And we do neither of us have the time for that. It would be like explaining to me why you DO believe in God. You can TELL me why you believe in God. But telling someone is not EXPLAINING.
Me 'telling you' why I don't believe in God is just as easy. I studied every religious book thoroughly, from the Bible, to the Koran, to the Torah, and even studied faiths like Buddhism. Fact remains that if you study all those books with an open mind, before committing to any such of these religions, you will find that they are in a fact much the same. From any perspective but the rules they give for living.
The sentence 'I do however believe in people who believe in God.' is of course NOT a personal statement about you. Because indeed, I do not know you. Just like any statement in the Bible is not about you, but for the 'general' believer in God. And I do know many people do a lot of good things in the name of God. Just like people do a lot of good things from any other faith or belief.
The art question is easily answered: You give meaning to the picture. I don't. Just like you give meaning to your faith and religion. I couldn't care less if it depicts Jesus being worshiped, or Satan for that matter. If I like the picture, I fave it as an art form. Not the religious aspect. This is after all NOT a religious forum, but one for art.
Your remark about 'what God wrote' is void though. And if you think about it, you will see why. Unless you can give me his email address of course. Or perhaps his 'handle' on this site? Communication is a two way street between you and me. And your God (At least to one version of the Bible) is kind enough to allow each human to make up his own mind about faith and submitting to him. In truth the Bible that you buy for $9.99 at Wal-Mart is but a rendition of the original. Go to the Library of Congress or any World Library for that matter, and take a few weeks or so to read the original Hebrew translation and I promise you that you will be very confused. Especially as a woman.

thanks for taking the time. it was just such a weird statement that i thought i'd ask about it.
i don't study religious text much, but i do read the bible and i do speak to God and he's spoken to me a couple of times in my life. i just believe in him, without concrete facts and the whole seeing is believing thing. he's real to me.
i know he's there and he loves me and he loves you too. cliche, isn't it? it's true though.
so to each his own, my friend, enjoy the picture for what it is. Mary Magdelene washing the feet of her Saviour out of love and because he saved her and cared about her.
