Heya, I just purchased the new version of manga studio. I don't know if you tried previous versions already, but the program has gotten a huge upgrade and I saw functions which might interest you as well like vector brushes and new sorts of brushes, enhanced selection tool for flat colouring, easy cleanup, ... it actually is like a photoshop/illustrator combo for artists
I just installed the trial version and it works like a charm, and since the full version (not the EX, the normal version) is now on sale and only 48 dollars... it might be worth it. For me it is since the dollar stands low compared to the euro

That's by the same people who make Poser? I have that program and am not real good with it (their help manual sucks). I think I would like to at least try that program - that price is a HECK of a lot cheaper than Illustrator. Thanks for the tip!

Yup, same company, I haven't used Poser though. I now work in MangaStudio 4 for M2M, but I still do the colouring in Photoshop because their colouring options sucked. But in version 5, it's a whole other story. Be sure to check out the videos they have on the site, they also have loads of video tutorials so you might get an idea if this is something you can use or not.

Awww! Thanks! You were the first (other than my aunt). Mother nature unfortunately threw some very wild weather our direction so I doubt I'll be doing anything for it other than staying at home - but that's peaceful too.
Hey, I finished up the lines for the picture. The only thing I'm not sure about is Ed's arm (you'll see). I have a pretty good reference and it should look better once I've shaded it, but right now it really looks like he's got dwarf arms! LOL! I'll send it your way.

Oh, my pleasure indeed! It was a lovely shot and I hope to use it as a screen saver on my work machine, I hope that's OK. I'm a forester and love having emotive pictures of woods and trees on my screen when I can't be out in the woods themselves.
