Tell deviantART about myself... well...I have violent tendencies which I blame on a combination of the media, my violent peer group, and the fact that I'm stronger than my peers.
I am very narcissistic which I blame on the fact that I'm just so good-looking. This trait causes me to spend an extra three to ten minutes each morning staring at my god-like abs.
On some pieces I choose to be a perfectionist, and on others I just don't really care. Pixelation irritates me.
I am a Canadian and very (dramatic pause) very patriotic. I wear shirts that say Canada on them, and if I looked good in white I would wear that colour all the time and if red wasn't considered a sexual colour I would wear that all the time too. I like to watch television that specifies Canada as well.
The fact that deviantART considers colour with a 'u' to be a spelling error bothers me.
I used "eh?" as often as possible without people finding it odd. (Or maybe they do.)
I watch the television programs:
-Project Runway Canada and not Canada(Favorite show)
-Canada's Next Top Model (as lame as it sounds)
-Doctor Who (thou must watch)

Let me re-phrase that:
I'm not saying that I think the people choosing the DDs are somehow "wrong" or should somehow "improve." I'm stating my personal opinion on DDs.
Saying that I personally don't like them and telling friends privately (as opposed to "dissing DDs" in comments [like the deviants in the article you sent me] on the artwork of people who receive DDs, or in journals) doesn't mean I that I openly disrespect the people choosing the DDs. Also, stating privately that I don't approve of a particular choice does not seem to be on the list of "Things not to do when you dislike a DD" that you seemed to think was appropriate to send me.
I feel insulted and offended.
