Fantastic work, extremely inspirational! I love your work on Monsterology, I really like how low poly it is with such nice textures. I had a few questions about your work flow for mobile 3D assets, I'd love to pick your brain if you have the time!

For your low poly work on Monsterology, did you create the base meshes and hand paint them only? or did you utilize zbrush, retopologize and paint from there? Basically, I am curious as to your work flow for your low poly work. Also, do you have any tutorials on how you hand paint your textures? Do you prefer to texture in zbrush or in photoshop? I am currently trying to learn more about character modeling, both low poly and high poly. Thank you so much for your time!

For monsterology, I made the model in Maya and use ZBrush ZAppLink to paint the model. But now I spend more time texturing in photoshop since you can import your 3D object in PS. I still use ZBrush ZAppLink for some stuffs, like fixing the seam and painting fine details. As far as tutorial goes, I normally follow tutorials for digital painting since the basic technique is pretty similar (i.e. block in color and shading -> refine shape -> add finer details). I hope that helps .

Hey man, thanks so much for the watch. I'm a big fan of your work. Very inspiring. Looking at some of your screenshots I was wondering, it looks like use Mudbox for your highpoly stuff, is that your primary sculpting tool or do you use Zbrush too?

Thanks! I only use ZBrush for highpoly stuff. I used Mudbox before but only for sketching but now I do everything in ZB.
