# About me
I am a graphic designer as well as a traditional artist. I love to draw and paint. Although I am skilled in a variety of mediums, my favorite ones to work with are pen & ink, colored pencil, and gouache.I have loved art all my life. From the time I could hold a pencil, I was constantly drawing. I was really shy when I was little and art helped me express myself and also helped release my anxiety. It was a way for me to escape.
Art has so much to offer people and to society, which is why I firmly believe that it should not be overlooked in schools. With the rise of violence and bullying, kids need art more than ever to express themselves and to grow as human beings. Teachers need art to help them teach and to help their students learn. Art teaches creativity, problem-solving, and communication which is of great value to society. That is why I always have a hissy fit when I hear of art programs being cut. I mean, after all, the earth without art is just eh. Wouldn't you agree?
