Hey there! I don't know much about anything, I DO know that I'm a birdy person with a chipped melon. And I've got the most rad friends in the whole entire world. Sometimes I take things without asking, and I don't always return them. I can help it, it's jam crazy fun.
~Ava is a lighthearted bird who can't remember a lot. She loves exploring and stealing. Although she doesn't take things very seriously, she can get her feelings hurt if someone pushes her too far. She is used to being alone, and she doesn't mind, but loves company. She lives in trees, usually a great big one in the center of the forest. She likes being small, but she hates being seen as weak. Sometimes something goes wrong with her head, whoever fixed her up didn't fix everything~

So, I'll start
Shadow hummed as she sat in a tree in her gold and silver forest. She played with a bit of her hair before putting a hand over her growing stomach. She smiled softly before she heard footsteps nearby. She grinned and sneakily floated behind the unsuspecting demon before she grabbed his shoulders "boo!" Malice screamed as his hands flared up for a moment before he realized who it was "shadow, you scared me!!" The ShadowShifter was too busy laughing to reply

Ava pulled her way through a bramble as she explored the unusual forest. It had been silent for most of the trip, so the sound of voices attracted her. Ava walked towards the direction of the voices, ducking behind a boulder as she watched the shenanigans of the ShadowShifter and the demon. Ava couldn't help but laugh with the ShadowShifter, but quickly covered her mouth hoping she had not been heard.

The demon blinked and turned to the direction of the laugh. His hands were already lit with grey demonic fire before the ShadowShifter put a hand on his shoulder "malice, relax. Everything isn't out to kill you" she rolled her eyes with a smile before a nearby tree branch wrapped around Ava and carried her in front of the young woman

"Uh oh." Ava muttered as she saw the grey fire flare from the demon's hands. As she turned to flee, Ava yelped as the branch wrapped around her waist. She struggled to pull away from it as it lurched and pulled her from the ground and lifted her in front of the two figures. "U-uh....hello....."

Shadow smiled and waved "hi. I see you found my little forest." She giggled before she patted a tree, causing the branch to set Ava down gently. Malice was still eyeing her with slight suspicion in his one uncovered eye

Ava sighed in relief as she was set down. "Your forest? I'm very sorry for trespassing. I didn't know it was owned by anyone..." Ava tried her best to hide the lie. She did know it was owned by someone, and she figured she may be trespassing. But she couldn't help it, this place was beautiful and fascinating.

"Oh don't worry. I don't mind. I only say my forest because I live here and the spirits are my friends. And malice, you might wanna move in the next second" "wait what-" he cut off in a squeal as a silver tree branch slapped him in the behind. He growled at it "for glob sakes Silver! Will you stop that?!" There was an echoey feminine laugh

Ava jumped at the sound of the disembodied laughter. "Was that one of your....friends..?"

"One of the two, yeah" shadow shrugged with a smile

Ava nodded, slightly impressed. Feeling more comfortable with the situation, she held her hand up to the strange woman. "My name's Ava."

Shadow smiled and took her hand, shaking it "and mine's Shadow. This grump here is Malice. Don't let he name fool you, he's a big softy." She giggled before she picked Ava up and put her on her shoulder easily

Ava smiled back, glancing at Malice. She nearly yelped again as she was scooped up but soon found herself comfortably situated on Shadow's shoulders. "So, you live here? In the trees?"

Shadow smiled as she began to walk with the smaller girl on her shoulder "no. I live in a cabin with my fiancé."

Ava leaned against Shadow's head lightly. "Oh, well I live in a tree. Who's your fiance?"

"My fiancé is a man named Jude. He's a bounty hunter." She smiled up at her "a tree huh? Well that's interesting" she giggled a bit while malice walked beside them.

"Oh wow, a bounty hunter? That has to be exciting. Very dangerous." Ava glanced at Malice, sticking her tongue out as she grinned at him. "I do love my tree."

Malice rose an eyebrow at her before he rolled his eyes. Shadow smiled at her "yep. It's pretty dangerous. He got possessed twice. One by a friend of mine, and one by someone I really, really hate."

"Oh possessed by a friend? That's kind of....weird....but it would have been scarier if you were possessed by someone you hate. Can I ask who it was?"

"One was my friend Fear. The other was Nothing. I. Hate. Nothing." She gritted her teeth before Malice patted her shoulder "well, he's gone and you don't have to stress anymore. You have a baby in your gut for glob's sakes."

"A baby?" Ava peaked down at her belly.

There was a slight bulge in her stomach as Shadow smiled and nodded "heh, yeah. Jude and I are expecting."

Ava gaped in surprise before smiling and jumping off Shadow's shoulders. She stood in front of Shadow as tall as she could manage. "Ma'am, I know you and your husband are very capable of protecting yourselves, but if you ever feel like your family needs more protecting, especially if it makes you feel more safe with your baby, then I and my much larger friends are at your service." She did a small bow.

Shadow blinked before she smiled and giggled softly. She crouched down to Ava's level and patted her head "thank you very much for that. I feel safer already."

Ava blushed at the head pat but nodded. "I'm pretty good with a sword! And also my best friend is a giant so...you're set if you ever need a time to relax."
