- Ultimately on good terms with England.

- He's a tad bit anxious most of the time. There's a lot of pressure on him from the UK as well as Ireland, giving him a bit of an anxiety disorder.

- Contrary to the belief all Irish are drunks, he most definitely is not, though he could always go for a nice beer once in a while.

- There were three decades of violence between Nationalists (mainly Irish and/or Roman Catholic) and Unionists (mainly British and/or Protestant). The Unionist majority discriminated against the Nationalist minority.

- The IRA carried out an armed paramilitary campaign in Northern Ireland and Britain to end British rule in Northern Ireland to create a united Ireland, from 1969-1997.

- In August of 1969, riots began to emerge, and that's when the battle begun. However, towards the end, there was an agreement within the Irish and British government known as the "Good Friday Agreement".

- Demanded partnership, equality and mutual respect between the island (Ireland and Northern Ireland), also including Britain.

- They must use democratic and peaceful ways of resolving political issues.

- It also opposed any use or threat of force by others for any political purpose.

- Northern Ireland is the most industrialized region of the island. After "The Troubles", he prospered more with trade, including trade with his sibling, the Republic of Ireland, after all of that conflict.

- A lot of sports and hobbies he's into are similar to the interests of both the UK and Ireland. He shares a culture with them both. His nation can often compete in the Commonwealth Games as their own team, or for both Ireland and Britain in the Olympic Games.

- Northern Ireland was the base of the Nine Years War, which was between the Irish and English Colonists.

- Most of the settlers that came to Northern Ireland were either English or Scottish.

- Him and Ireland were once merged with Britain (merged on January 1st, 1801). It stayed that way for years, with many wars for independence.

- On April 11th, 1912 Ireland as a whole became self-governing.

- In August of 1914, everything took a major turn, and the Unionists that wanted partition due to opposing views with WWI wanted partition even more strongly, and it became more foreseeable in the future.

- The Anglo-Irish treaty was signed, and Ireland became a free state. Northern Ireland was able to vote themselves out of the free state within a month.

- This treaty caused the Irish Civil War, Nationalists who were for the treaty against Republicans who thought it was betrayal of the Irish Republic.

- This war caused more casualties than the War of Irish Independence against the British.

- After the fighting, the Irish Free State was established on December 6th, 1922. Northern Ireland voted themselves out on December 8th, staying within the United Kingdom.
