I only have one horse myself, though the pic in my gallery has the one I gave away back at the beginning of the year. I actually have a question about using your stock too. I'm trying to teach myself to use my tablet and paint program(it's slooow going) and I was wondering: Do you have any objection to your photos being colored? I'll link to the picture I used of course and credit you with it. ^^

Also, truthfully I dunno how comfortable I am with that. However I am okay with you doing a trace  of the horse and then painting that. Does that make sense? And I have some resources I could find that might help you start working out how to paint. Stuff that's helped me. I'd be happy to find them for you.

She's my buddy. I've had her since she was three and she turned thirteen this year. 

Yes, that makes sense and that's fine with me. If I post anything I'll make sure to let you know and have a link in the description back to you along with credits for the picture. I'm paranoid of people taking stuff of mine ever since a fanfic of mine was word for word copied a couple years ago.

We've had many adventures together. I'll brag on her just a little bit, I couldn't ask for a better horse to ride trails in the woods on! She's scared of nothing! XD

I use Corel Painter Essentials 4 mostly because it came with my tablet I bought on sale. I'd rather have Photoshop, I got to play around with it in school a little bit, but it's so expensive!

Oh geeze, that's so great. My boy is scared of EVERYTHING. He's a great horse, and frankly I like that he's a little bit of a tough one to handle. I've been riding so long when I get on a 'bombproof' horse as it were I get bored. XD He's certainly not boring. But man he's jumpy. Puddles are scary, lines in the pavement are scary, trash cans, mailboxes, shadows, you name it. 
Silly goose. 
She sounds so relaxing though, and sweet. It's amazing how they're all so different individually. 

And Corel is a great program! I've played with it a little bit. (Photoshop is ridiculously expensive. . . ) I think there is a free download of Adobe CS2 though, from Adobe. Here's the link on my crazy tumblr. Click on the link under the "oh my glob" gif.

A horse I gave to a friend's little sister was like that. Though apparently she just didn't like me, they took her home and started riding the next day with zero problems! XD Dixie doesn't like getting her feet wet very much, but she's gotten better than she used to be. Used to, she would't cross a creek for NOTHING. Now she will, but if it's small enough she can jump it? She's going to jump it. I think my proudest moments of her have been when my three year old nephew ran square into her nose and she just twitched then stuck her face back up to him to be petted. The other one was when a turkey flew up out of waste high soybeans, she jumped really bad, but didn't turn and run. Then she was fine and watched it fly away. She's half Quarter Horse and can definitely turn on a dime when she wants to!

Part of my problem is I don't have the patience to work with Corel since I have so little experience with it and drawing/coloring on the computer overall. I'll have to look into that!! The link to your tumblr didn't work, I think DA ate it! XD I think I heard something about that a while back, but I have limited internet at my house and couldn't download it at the time. I'm back at school now so I'll use their internet when I'm there one day! XD

Yeah, Tanzen will jump it if he can too! You'd think being 27 he'd calm down by  now . . . nope.  

I suggest just goofing off in the program then. Get to know it and try new techniques and what not.

He's 27? Wow! He so does not look like it in his pictures! I would have guessed him half that at least! Dixie turned 13 this year. By the time she gets to be Tanzen's age she's probably going to be one of those 'bombshell' horses that is scared of nothing. XD

I'll bet! My cousin has a horse that acts a whole lot younger than he is too! He's in his twneties, but I would have never guess with how well he gets around and how he acts!

I have good access off and on, so whenever you get them is fine. I usually end up with a break here or there or a couple of my friends have really good internet at their places.

Alright. I did a search in my own gallery and lots of them came up.
However, I went in to edit, to check and see if I'd accidentally put the word in the tags. I haven't. I don't know why they're coming up with a word that hasn't been tagged.
But dA is huge and has bugs.
Again, I can't fix it. There's nothing for me to fix. I can't remove a tag that isn't there.
